Serious question: why are people so worried about stats for 'made up' players that won't matter when the new game drops or have NO bearing on actual physical things?
Just like how some are concerned about a W/L record, that has no real world meaning, in a video game that resets EVERY year.
what is the point of playing if you don't relish in your own accomplishments?
To have fun? Don't get me wrong; I used to be one of them. I worried that my RS record wasn't good. I worried that my batting average was only 'x' and that my ERA was 'x'.
But one day I just thought to myself that those 'accomplishments' have no bearing on what happens to me in my real life. Once I realized that I started remembering why I play this game. To relax and rewind after a hard day.
that is cool for you mate, for me i take pride in my RS record - i take pride in my ERA - i play each RS game to the bitter end - it depends on the goals of the user
I'm not knocking hiw you play. But some people take it to seriously. That's the main reason SDS got rid of being able to see someone's record in this forum. People were calling others out based on the W/Ls.

oh that's horrible i hear you there............
i never brag or bring up my record, and we all started at the bottom when we begun playing this game right. my first year playing DD online RS i was horrible. my BA is horrible this year but i take pride in my stats on a personal level

Correct. I take is seriously, but some people take it overboard.

I used to play each game until the bitter end, but then I got angry too often in RS, so know I don't.

You can easily look up somebody’s win loss record. Also, there are elements to this game that are there solely for the purpose of big leaguing your opponent.
You’re telling me home run replays, Dj airhorns and all the other celebration animations and sound effects are for sportsmanship?

- The CPU will throw underhand.
- Your PCI will expand to cover the entire strike zone plus 2 feet outside of it.
- All fielders will shift into the stands.
- All of your batters (commons, bronzes, silvers, golds and diamonds) will automatically inherit Juan Soto's "Finest-Prestiged" attributes.
