Why does everyone play at Shippet?
-
I play all my games at wrigley field. I’ve gotten so use to what ever lag there might be that I now have a advantage over most people I play because they are not use to the timing of a field that has some lag.

Do the balls fly out farther there than say Colorado?
i never do shippet is a trash stadium
-
Also people like boosting stats. So it’s prestige driven as well
-
Date Palm Field is best field
-
I haven't seen Shippet as much as earlier in the year.
-
One thing nobodys mentioned is that the batters eye is really clean. It makes it easier to pick up pitches out of the hand.

I play at iron horse or date palm. But yes shippet is used the most because it allows the most bs homeruns of any stadium. Shippett specials that only go out in that park, any where else they are outs
It’s the most used because it’s the most rewarding. Some players don’t like lineout fests
-
i am playing at the main street field i think it's called. I really like that one as it seems no lag and pretty fair. but i hardly see anyone playing at that field.
-
I don't mind Shippett. The elevation can make things annoying sometimes, but it isn't as exaggerated as Laughing Mountain (and it doesn't have that dumb billboard in CF either)

I play there too but not for that reason. For obvious reasons I’m a Cubs fan too and my team and uniforms are the Cubs uniforms. I’ve never noticed any lag. Either that or I’m just used to it that I don’t even know it’s happening

It’s pretty boring but I like baseball city. Not a launching pad like shippet no lag and a really clean batters eye.
-
Shippet is for scrubs who think baseball is purely about hitting and home runs. There’s a reason all the popular streamers and “top players” only play home games at shippet. It’s to boost their averages and make them look like they’re incredible hitters, when the truth is, a weak pop fly will carry out at shippet. If they all had to play at a reasonable stadium, maybe things would look different and the best players in the game wouldn’t have ERA above 5-6 despite being the greatest players on paper.

Ridiculous take lol. People play at shippett cuz they don’t like lineout fests. What stadium do u play at? Maybe we could play a game there since shippett players are scrubs

This and Oak street are my go to parks. Main Street can be a little cheesy due to the lack of a wall in RF, but it generally plays fair.

I hate Shippet, especially when I'm away. Its basically a garaunteed win for the home team if it goes to extra innings.
I almost always request a FQ when I see it.
-
People use it as an excuse to say that it’s less laggy than Colorado, I’ve played there many times and have witness barely any lag. The ball does fly there, it’s just a stale stadium at this point.

That’s because it is less laggy than Colorado

Laughing Mountain for life. There may be some cheap shots to LF and RF, but CF and the gaps are deep. And the elevation means if you crush one, it goes a mile. My last game, Yordon hit one 490 feet and Larry hit one 502. My opponents Sandberg hit one 485. Fun stadium

I'll admit I use shippett as my home field during all star events when I'm trying to prestige but other than that it is a boring field that I wouldn't mind never playing in again

For me, it isn’t even about what stadium is more rewarding. I am just tired of playing at Shippett. Of all the comments, I haven’t heard anyone mention Wagonman Stadium yet.
The ball flies at Wagonman, with a great backdrop for pitching and hitting. So if you like offense, try Wagonman. The dimensions are deep but trust me, the ball FLIES.
Just stop picking Shippett every time. Please...
