Post your scores of your Ruth 9 inning HOF game

8-6 first game I played of them all. Working backwards
-
7-4 Win
It was stressful. I intentionally walked Mantle and Ortiz whenever I could. They got it out of the park the other times I did pitch to them -
1-0.
Forget CPU Kluber and his dotting the slurve on the outside. -

5-4 for me. Scored 2 in the first two innings. Went down 1, scored 3 in the 5th. Gave up a solo blast to Vladdy in the 9th.
Oh and I ran an all speed team. Stole like 16 bases
What speed guys were you using?
So far Lofton and Rollins at the top. I may go with the quickest line-up I have and see how it works for the remaining divisional HOF 6 inning games, I completed the 9 inning final and AL and NL league ones. Something like
CF Sig Lofton
SS Sig Rollins
1B Sig J. Robinson
3B Sig Sandberg
LF FS Trammell
2B FS Brujan
RF 95 Henderson
C 91 Pudge or maybe silver BiggioBench
Mondesi
FOFT Buxton
3 power bats -
3-2 Signature Mo with the save
-
6-2 Trout hit a solo shot, Ortiz hit a grand slam and then hit another solo shot. CPU scored on an error and an RBI single
-
10-1. Easier than I expected.
-
4-2 first try
Pinch hit 2 run blast by Killabrew on a full count in the 9th
-
8-3. Fell behind 1-0, then 3-1. Scratched my way back with a couple of bases-loaded walks, and a 3-run HR from Jackson. I've played 4 of the HOF games... patience is key here. Let the CPU throw a lot of pitches and try not to chase.
I haven't tried the speed/bunting/stealing strategy, but I can see where it makes sense.
-
14-0
... But then I had to restart the Nats 3 inning game on all star twice
-
first try. 7-5. Cruising along 7-0 until the 9th. A couple of bloops and a blast made it close.
-
6-3. Forgot I moved my SPs around for missions. My new top 3 in the order have been amazing in these games. Trout-Hornsby-Mantle have routinely put me ahead early. I've finally gotten the hang of Mantle, and he has been crazy good.
-
10-3. First thing I did, but took a few restarts. Papi 4-4, 2hrs 6rbi.
-
8-1: Weny yard with Prestige Ramirez (2), Walker, and Sheffield. The hardest game in the program for me was the AL Central.
-
9-8 first try...
I was up 5-0 in the 6th they scored freakin 8 runs that inning... I paused it took a mental break because I was HOT.... came back focused and won 9-8 they for sure were hitting the ball like crazy idk how anyone held them under 3 runs lol -
Whew!
6-5 I got a grand slam from LS Trout to make it 5-1
but then of course next half inning they hit 3 solo Shots right away to make it 5-4
Went into bot 9 at 6-4, then Larry Walker hits a solo shot on 1st pitch to make it 6-5
Luckily close it outTough one but yeah I walked 8 times - be patient!
-
First try. Was up 3-0 in the 2nd inning, I’m throwing a no-hitter in the bottom of the 6th. until I give up a two out game-tying 3Run home run to Mickey!
ERNIE FREAKING BANKS! Who I just pulled out of the DOTP pack hit the game winning opposite field Home run with 1 out in the 9th on a 2 strike count (I wasn’t even close with the PCI placement) Mo shut the door! And finally got the Babe
-
9-3
super easy - Kluber is TRASH - I had him up to 96 pitches by the 4th inning.
didn't even try with pitching, had nolan ryan up to 130 pitches for a complete game
in my opinion this was not what i expected with 'hall of fame' games.
last years conquest extreme was the hardest i have ever played in all years of the show with that miller card grind

10-0 but they don’t have a mercy rule. Not sure why they wouldn’t have it in a 9 inning game.
