Every Team had the player home fans just loved due to their persona, grit or impact they gave the team with chemistry & moral. Players that may have only had really 1 or 2 very good seasons, not great seasons, but good enough to mention.

Curious to know which may be some of yours & if you would like seeing them in the game as maybe even a Silver or Gold Flashbacks & would be fun to use within 1st month of RS or certain Events.

I have a few that comes to mind because I'm just a die hard Met Fan. But these players are:

    3B -Hubie Brooks / 3B - Howard Johnson / CF - Mookie Wilson / C - Todd Hundley / LF - Kevin McReynolds

    Just to name a few from other teams i would like to see & use: ....... STL) CF - Vince Coleman / C - Darrel Porter / CHI) C - Jody Davis / 1B Ron Durham / OAK) C - Terry Stienbach / LAD) C - Mike Sciocia / 2B - Steve Sax / DET) 1B - Tony Clark /
CIN) SP - Mario Soto (again just to name a few from the top of my head)

    Which are yours?

I'm an NL West guy and it is a god forsaken tragedy that Larry Walker isn't in the game.

Edit: that wasn't what this thread was supposed to be about at all.

As a Mariners fan I think of a bunch of guys from the early 2000s.

    Carlos Guillen
    Mike Cameron
John Olerude (him and Cameron probably deserve a nice card)
Arthur Rhodes (another nice lefty in the pen)
    Jamie Moyer
    Dan wilson

Edit: gotta add a couple more
    Marc Maclemore
    Freddie Garcia
And finally I need to see Rauuuuuul Ibanez.

    Deion Sanders would be nice.

I would love to see Danny Tartabull breaking bats over his knee after strikeouts again.

Jim Abbott was my favorite player as a kid. I love that the internet let me see his no hitter. I saved the news paper clippings from it in my notebook that has all his baseball cards. Wish they’d get his rights and put him in The Show. He’d never leave my rotation.

They probably don’t know how to make a model for him in the game.

I’m sure it’s not easy, but I can’t imagine it’s impossible. With today’s tech, probably easier than we’d think.

David Freese (who retired this year), David Eckstein. I always loved Rafael Furcal.
Matt Morris and Mark Mulder on the pitching side.

I have a completely nonsensical love of Bronson Arroyo based on:

    1. The high kick.
    2. A-Rod slapping the ball out of his hand in '04 like a chump.

    That's it.

Dude was clutch on all those playoff runs and World series games. Batted .314 in the WS as a Yankee (4years --20 games) and was clutch , at least in my mind.
Give me him in the playoffs, in a big at-bat over AFRAUD any day

I'll go back a little further (I assume that I am older)

    Ted Simmons
    Chris Carpenter
Jose Oquendo (of course with a secondary of every position)
    Al Hrabosky
    Tom Herr

Glenn Davis, Billy Hatcher and Eric Anthony. Anthony never lived up to his hype, but would hit some monster HR's from time to time.
Oh yeah, that reminds me of Mike Hampton. Anthony was traded for Hampton and someone else. So throw Hampton, Kile, and Brad Ausmus in the mix.

Ron Santo, although his career was arguably very good he does not get the credit.
