    Hiya folks.

As we continue through the year with MLB The Show 20, I wanted to put out a few reminders of general forum etiquette.

    • Please respect others and their opinions, even if they differ from your own. Mods will continue to remove personal attacks or continued nonconstructive toxicity. (Think of the Golden Rule).
    • Please utilize the ignore feature - it’s better to ignore the trolls than it is to engage the trolls.
To ignore someone: Click on their name to go to their profile -> Click on “More" on the right, and select “Ignored”.

We understand many are vocal about the game right now, and everyone is more than welcome to express their opinions, ideas, and perspectives here. But keep in mind - attacking others for any reason will not be tolerated and those who do so will be removed. If you cannot disagree with someone respectfully, then please do not respond.

Remember the Code of Conduct is here.

And while I’ve got your attention:

    • Yes - we’re working on another game update, but we do not have any details we can share at this time.
    • We’re constantly monitoring our social channels (and that includes the TSN forums). I know we say this a lot, and though you may not always see us respond, we are absorbing what is being said - not just the positives, but also the negatives, and everything in between.

I appreciate your patience, your feedback, and I hope you’re all staying safe and healthy.

    Thank you!

Shouldn't this be the one and only forum SDS should pay attention to? I would think if people can get on twitter or reddit, they can get on here and talk about the game.

Not everyone chooses to post here, and we respect that.

There are so many awesome communities outside of The Show Nation with tons of feedback and different perspectives - we don't want force people out of their comfort zone, so we try to keep an eye on as many as we can.

Great to hear some communication! Thanks for the update. Are there any general target areas you guys are addressing (Pitching, Hitting, Fielding)? Is there a target release date / week?

I would imagine this forum alone makes Victor drink every night.

Thank you for the update. It means alot to see this and more of these would be greatly appreciated in the future.

Im excited to see how the game plays with another update, its been very frustrating to play instead of enjoyable and its disappointing this late into the year.

A way to play with my dd more offline would be nice too. Online play has been rough and conquest and play vs cpu are only other ways to play with our squad. A mto of sorts with our dd team would be really cool and offer another way to play offline with our team.

To be fair, since 17 the final patch usually comes in late may-early June. I could see some very minor things being tweaked, which will make a very little footprint on how the gameplay actually plays. Next patch is going to seal 20 for the rest of its cycle.

That’s a little disconcerting. The pessimist in me fears the next patch will deal more with too much xp being rewarded in some game mode rather than anything to do with hitting or pitching.

That's about what I expect to. We will get a line that says "improved pitcher acuraccy" and notice no change to boot. Beyond that, I don't think we see anything.

Maybe we’ll get more terms to label why our contact is bad: rolled over, out in front, cracked bat, closed eyes, limp wrists, dropped shoulder. The possibilities for this patch are endless.

While this forum probably does make Victor drink, I am sure that playing a few events games would be just as depressing. The guys field like little leaguers. Thanks for the post Victor.

YEAH Please is away to have some fun outside the Crazy crayons of trolls that only cares about themselves! I Love MLB the Show I have been playing online since 2009 but I do remember a lot of the changes since 2007 so maybe there are a few things that can be added because matchmaking with these players with cero love for this game is really frustrating 😑

Does SDS plan to fix the factthat people like XI_DarylDixon_XI can use left handed Pitchers in a Right handed pitcher event??? Because that [censored] just happened and cost me a game because most of my hitters are worse against lefties since I'm limited to left handed hitters
