You would be taking a card from your MLB 19 inventory and putting it in your MLB 20 inventory. It's not a hard concept to grasp
My question is what happens if that card doesn’t exist in MLB 20? If I want to keep 99 Mays and he’s the collection reward again why should I get the collection reward in 20 for not doing the collection? If for some reason I want to keep Sig Dunn next year what happens if he doesn’t get a Sig card in 20? What happens if there are no Signature series cards in 20 and they go back to single season cards? See how it doesn’t work?
You're taking the card from one game to the next. therefore it exists, even if only for you
-
Not with finest but if they keep SS. Maybe they could do like a starter pack and choose between 1-30 SS players but make the packs somewhat hard to get and make the first pack unsellable. Later in the games system they could implement this into more moments, conquest map, BR Rewards, RS Rewards etc and then those ones could be sellable so people can obtain all of them
-
All the above reasons are valid on why teams aren't carried over. (In reference to the entire team, not one card)
The biggest reason is it wouldn't make much business sense- Why buy more cards when you can carry over a god squad?
- New players to 2020 would be at a severe disadvantage and would quit.

So why do you get a specific card that only you can have? Why is it not available to everyone that plays the game?
It will never happen
It should never happen
If I can carry over cards to the next game there’s no reason for me to buy the next game -

wish it would be possible to rollover our current diamond dynasty teams into next season, as we can carryover our RTTS players.. why not our DD team.
lol this guy

I get the sentiment... If there was one card I would want to carry over, it was that HW Jimmy Rollins from 17!!
But like what has already been stated, they don’t have his rights as of now and to carry over players just makes no business sense in this type of game where every year they have a new game.
-
I don't know, I like the option to start from scratch again.

"It's not that hard. Tell em, Wash."
"It's incredibly hard."
-
Because it actually wouldn't make sense.
-
What would be the point of playing a team building mode if you had a 99 overall team day one? I already have twenty 99 overall position players and it’s getting kinda old
-
They won’t do that for several of the above reasons but mainly $$$. Each year people spend money to get good cards, they wouldn’t if it carried over
-
I would like it if you could carry over one card though. It would be tough but I would either go with honus or Wagner bc he can shut down anything
-
I could see taking over maybe a LS card or like a LS flashback, if SS are in the game then maybe them as well but itd have to be limited to at most 3 and even then have a limitation 1 SP, 1 RP, and 1 PP, I have a feeling that if SS returns then out the gate we will see a lot more to get, like I could see them using the Choose 30 players pack from the opening day this year as a choose 30 SS pack because almost everyone in that pack got a SS card with the exception of maybe a handful if that. But I agree transferred teams would kill the game and even transfer a player wouldn't work that well either

If I can carry over cards to the next game there’s no reason for me to buy the next gameAgree, but statement 3 makes no sense in this scenario. If you carry over cards to the next game, that IS your incentive to buy the next game. There’s no carryover if you don’t buy it.

An Idea I had was that if you had a team last year you could carry over ONE card in your inventory. So if you're in love with that Finest JT Realmuto like I am, or you want to start out the gate with a big time Sig Series card you can
How would that work when finest cards are based on that years performance? JT may not have a finest card next year, what if signature series cards aren’t in the game next year?
Those really wouldn't be factors since you're taking a card from the previous year and transferring it over. the bigger issue would be in regards to certain players rights, which you could excuse if those players weren't allowed
-
Why did this Absolutely horrible suggestion get revived? Talk about taking all the fun out.

Kinda of like they did POTM this year?
-
Don’t you all get sick of grinding all year for your teams, just to only have a few months left to play with the team you want? Or quit the game after finally having your end game team?
And then start over again from scratch every 12 months. Been doing these team building games since 2017 and I’m starting to grow tired of it.

What do you think of 2K21? I think its so trash, I don't even recognize the mode anymore its gone so downhill and watered down.
