I agree as well this so far is an unmitigated disaster and it sucks I am going to go back to playing mlb20

Same for RTTS I will be playing 20 and for Franchise I will be playing 21 that is the only mode I will play on it because of stadium creator and that is all

Try going to the DD Screen delete all loadouts and the recreate them, and then go back to RTTS and try. Mine works when i change loadouts and play a conquest game. I then go to RTTS and progressed ever since exactly the way it is designed for. Good Luck 👍

Did you recreate the load outs in DD or in rtts and did you delete them one at a time then remake them? Cause bit tells me I can't delete them all

I deleted them 1 @ a time in the DD ballplayer recreated. Played 1 Conquest game. Went back to RTTS and got more progression in 5 hours than i did all weekend. All the equipment too

I have not tried skipping the Conquest part but if you wan to try it might work.

Did everything you said the I lost server connection lol just my luck..... Once I got logged back in it did start working let's see for how long thank you

What do you mean a game? Did you play conquest or did you go str8 to RTTS after changing loadouts?

No I did it like you said but after my first game I lost server connection and it went back to not working idk

No, you don't "HAVE" to. It speeds up rewards programs when it is working, but is not at all a must do. It gives you extra incentive to use your created player in DD is all. The real issue is that the rewards trackers are not working for either mode.

At the time I made this post the only way to get progress to track was to create a DD team.

I'm not 100%, but I think that trade logic applied to Franchise

Cool another bug to wait for fix like I thought. Well not cool but at least I didn’t waste stubs on the gear I bought.

Hoping this gets seen more and the devs work on a fix. A reply would be nice or a tweet saying they are aware of the issue.

My progression is working exactly as intended after you follow these simple steps. If you go to DD And delete all loadouts and equipment and then recreate them and play 1 conquest 3 inning game or try going straight back to RTTS (have not tried this) then go back to RTTS it works like a dream. I have gotten further in 5 hours today than i have all weekend in regards to progression. Good luck hope this helps! 👍

As far as original post goes i am seeing first base sometimes black when approaching on a base hit.

It's good that there is a work around for those who want it but personally I don't want to jump through hoops to make it work, especially not knowing if it will break again tomorrow.

@Moosealbany_PSN Yeah I guess they don't care if you are not online, but even if you have crappy internet you are boned. I used to live in a place where the internet was super slow. I was hardly ever able to get online for games. I would be out of luck if this was how it was back then, and OP doesn't have internet at all apparently!

I think it is silly to have Babe Ruth playing on the same team as Ricky Henderson who in turn is playing on the same team as Tatis Jr. That's why I don't play DD, it is ridiculous.

Third and Fourth pitch do not come until you reach MLB stage of your RTTS. I think this has to be the dumbest move within RTTS. Once you pick your pitches though once you have made The Show - these pitches cannot be changed either!

When the training opens up in bullpen training you can reassign any of the three pitches to a different pitch. Maybe random pitches IDK what the criteria are for what pitches they offer you though.

I don't know how they choose which one come in, but they have always only given you the option to learn pitches thrown by the guys on your team.

Your have to ‘activate’ him in the my player portal on the right,... same area you see your pose and load outs. Then he will be on your bench. That’s how it happened for me

How far are you? Have you played any games? Once your agent calls and asks if you want to two way and you say no, it should reflect after the next game.

I had just started and hadn’t played any games. Someone at a desk (assuming the coach) asked me if I’d play in the field too, I said yes and selected the response “Catcher”. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re referring to. I want to play as just a catcher though if at all possible.

Ok here is what will happen: You will play as catcher and possibly DH for a few games. Then you will pitch a game. This is impossible to get around. After that game when you return to the clubhouse, your agent will call you and ask how you feel about being a two way player. Tell him "I don't like it at all. I just want to focus on hitting and playing in the field." He will ask if you mean that you don't want to pitch at all. Tell him yes. Then from that point on they should have you at catcher. After a game it should reflect on your card.

Thank you SO much! I should have maybe assumed that, but again this is my first RTTS since 2013 so I’m definitely still readjusting.

No problem, happy to help. It is super confusing at first. Far more than past iterations, but that should get you where you want to be. Hopefully they fix the progression bug before you get too far into it or you won't improve much and will end up wasting a season.

Exactly so once TONY and the team fix the RTTS stuff will we basically have to start a new player?

That is what I am doing. I have gone through half a season and gone up 1 overall because I can't get better perks or level up my archetype. I want to have a long career and I am not throwing away a year of development because the mode is broken at launch.

Unfortunately no, it doesn't change anything in that situation. This had to be an easy change in the past because I don't remember dealing with this type of throwing control for years now
