Why would anyone want their ballplayer on a team of legends?

Maybe if you are creating your RTTS player to be you, and you want to play with the legends but it's kind of silly, isn't it? I guess I've been back and forth on it and I have been using my player in DD to get archetype progress, but I just don't see the point otherwise.
I like DD for what it is and I like RTTS for what it is too, no reason to combine them.

I think it is silly to have Babe Ruth playing on the same team as Ricky Henderson who in turn is playing on the same team as Tatis Jr. That's why I don't play DD, it is ridiculous.
