I don’t have internet at my house, so I’m worried that I won’t be able to improve my loadouts. Since the programs are like the DD ones and you need internet to even check the progress, how am I supposed to make my player better if the training is capped and nerfed this year?

Loadout programs require internet. The mode is no longer offline. You will still be able to progress attributes up until the hard cap, but you will not get progress towards loadouts at all even if they do fix the bugs.

And isn't that hard cap at 50? Meaning only other way to get your stats above 50 is with equipment, and can you get packs and equipment without internet? I've never really noticed if that's possible.

It baffles me how SDS didn't even consider the offline aspect when redesigning RTTS. People like OP are basically screwed, as are people who usually have internet but their ISP is having issues that day. Severely hoping we see drastic changes (or reverts) next year. The entire loadout system is horrible for RTTS, imo.

Loadout programs aren’t working for me online. I’m getting 0 progress. None. Equipment upgrades? Not working. Load outs switching from hitter to pitcher? Doesn’t work, have to dash board and change them.

I agree. The hard cap is at 50 and the only way to get stats higher is with perks, archetype boosts, and equipment. Equipment is directly tied to online. Either the market, packs, or as xp rewards. All of those require internet. Perks are on the market or as progression rewards, which require internet. Progression rewards are the only way I know of to get archetype boosts. SO literally the only way to get past caps is internet based. OP is screwed, unfortunately.

@TheBootMan88_PSN - great point!! I truly hadn't thought out the full repercussions to a person who has limited Internet access. One of the things I've historically done is take my PS on the road with me and when wanting to kill a few hours relaxing in my hotel room to play offline. Not even bother trying to hook into the normally crappy hotel wi-fi. Which may be fine if your RTTS career is developed enough that you no longer are really worried about progression. But sucks if you are trying to build up a younger career.

@Moosealbany_PSN Yeah I guess they don't care if you are not online, but even if you have crappy internet you are boned. I used to live in a place where the internet was super slow. I was hardly ever able to get online for games. I would be out of luck if this was how it was back then, and OP doesn't have internet at all apparently!
