This has gone completely past acceptable with basic bottom tier transparency from SDS. Someone from SDS needs to give a statement on what in the holy hell is going on. There hasn't been any updates to the game and all we have been told is a generic blanket statement with zero time frame on fixes. Then you have the countless people who've lost stubs and rewards with nothing but crickets from SDS.

Xbox finally gets MLB the Show and it's a complete shitshow.

Should there be a warning in-game? 100% absolutely but fact is twitter has always been where they consistently post it every time. If you are on the forums you have the ability to take 10 seconds yo look at Twitter. Should you have to? No but if you know its there and choose not to look I can't feel too bad.

The amount of defending SDS on any issue is just absurd.
It should be without a doubt an in game notification and countdown. I do not use Twitter, FB, tiktok or whatever else is around. I know a lot of people have moved away from that as well.

The "well you're here sooooo" is nonsense. There shouldn't be an issue where before you decide to play a game you need to go to multiple social media sites to see if there is going to be an issue. I guess the next idiotic defense is going to tell people to set an alarm on their phone to alert the maintenance. Then make sure you have the phone, laptop and tablet all refreshing social media feeds since the thought of having IT IN GAME is crazy talk.

It should be included in the startup menu of the game. There are too many online games to list that use this approach and have since the PS3.

Do all of you who are non stop whining ever read a whole post from people or just the parts that set you off? I agree that it should be in game and there is not really an excuse for it not to be but at this point we know it is not there and we know they always post it on Twitter. You don't need a Twitter account to see it, I don't have one either. If you are on the forums, scroll to the bottom and click the Twitter link, the time it takes to make a post complaining you could have done that.

I wasn't "whining" I was bringing attention to the folks like yourself who feel the need to lash out at people who dare speak ill of SDS. I am completely dumbfounded with the recent trends in society of blindly defending something or someone just because. It is an extremely [censored] situation when individuals can't admit when there is a problem so they're only recourse is to attack anyone with a different view. The obvious sign is when they ALL use the same insults to weakly attempt to validate their "higher ground".

I would like to thank you though for proving my point.

I’m guessing that they downsized QC and hired Creed Bratton to handle it.

Corporate wants you to find the difference between this years game and the last.

::whispers:: both of the pictures are exactly the same.

Michael Scott management to a tee.

A full month, SDS should do better than that, I selected two Matt Olson’s on TA3

maybe don't screw up? Why is it SDS's fault a player made a mistake?

There are always smart asses that come on here blaming the user for making the mistake. Yes, we made a mistake in picking the same player twice. So we are just supposed to sit around and not say anything? A month of turnaround time is just ludicrous. This was the game's biggest launch ever (cross-platforms), so you would think they would have a faster turnaround time for this. I wonder if XBox tickets get faster turnaround time.
Not only that, why isn't there a way where once you pick a No-Sell card, it doesn't allow you to pick it again?

There's always morons who mash buttons then refuse to accept the blame.

It couldn't be more clear if you own a card.

I've read it and written myself many-many-many times. Why can't the developers code to the degree that there is a difference..CONSISTENTLY... in difficulty levels? Is it that daunting of a task??

I get all the other stuff that is just as inconsistent but done, I suspect, to maintain parity through a DDA scheme of some sorts.

But, for God's sake, how can one Conquest game on HoF be a cakewalk where you score 5 in the first then just purposely start over-running singles/doubles just to get outs to end the game. Forget the AI team ever hitting the ball because they don't.

The very next game with the exact same pitcher/lineup against a like rated AI team/pitcher that 71 pitcher will start throwing unhittable fast-balls (the 'ol stand-by "very late") at the very top of the zone. 80 David Fletcher suddenly fouls off 9 pitches in order to force one in the zone that he promptly bruises.

It's undoubtedly also DDA code that is just very poorly written. C'mon guys, it's embarrassing to frustrate the fan-base with such amateurish code. It's like going to McDonald's and ordering a Big Mac and getting a $hit Sandwich.

I see similar things in the EA games as well, but.................WHY..WHY..WHY..WHY..WHY..WHY..WHY?

Easy - to sell stubs. DD is a trash mode that needs to die.

Lol DD is the only reason this game is in existence. You offline types are clueless about business. Unless you want to pay $150 for the game.

Make up your mind... are they selling stubs and making a fortune or does no one buy stubs because the cards are too east to get?

I only commented once so I'm not sure what you were talking about as far as making up my mind.

Do you think stubs are so easy to get that no one buys them? Or do you think they are making a fortune off of stub sales?

Both. Grinders and people with skill don't need to buy stubs but some still do especially when a card or pack 8s released that they "must have." Also, people that can't play nearly as often as others but buying stubs is a drop in the bucket since they work and all will buy stubs. I play quite a bit, complete all BR programs, make WS, play all events to get the card rewards and I still bought stubs early on to get chipper a little early. I could have totally waited and got chipper but I wanted him fast and spending money on those early stubs was not an issue for me. So now i have so many stubs I find myself ripping packs for fun. I didn't need to buy those stubs but I still did. I thoroughly enjoy DD and wouldn't even think about buying the game for offline modes or just online rated. DD is going nowhere anytime soon.

You said the ONLY reason the game existed was because of DD.
Have you rethought that statement yet?
It's a popular mode sure, but even without it the game would exist, it would just be less profitable.

You are completely wrong and I stand by my comment 100%. Sds upgrades DD every year. Look at franchise and offline stuff. It's secondary. DD is the main draw and money maker. My statements are 100% accurate. Don't get mad because you play offline. I'm not busting your chops but DD is king around here. "It would just be less profitable." I'm guessing you're not a business owner.

I've played less then 10 games online in 8 years or so.
I've also never spent a single cent on MTX and completed the collection awhile back for Chipper.

I completely understand where you're coming from...however this game is unbelievably easy to make stubs. If you're buying stubs you're either lazy or just plain dumb.

I've said it before with the new roster updates. The stub swing is just insane. I mean for fucks sake there are countless cards at 5 stubs that sell for for around 200. It isn't difficult, stop being lazy put in a few 100 orders and make 10k to 15k a pop
