Today we honor, Lou Gehrig, one of the greatest baseball players that ever lived, with a 97 overall card.

It’s been a roller coaster for me. I’ve finished the program today. This was my first online experience this season and I just find it to be all over the place. Some games you are swinging a wet noddle and other you are launching the ball. Ive questioned how anyone can go 12-0 at this point.

I’m shocked they did this mid year. This seems like a pretty massive adjustment to make for the casual gamer who just enjoyed grinding the program and earn some stubs. this latest move on BR and the most recent roster update is absolutely brutal.

I won’t be completing them anytime soon after the most recent roster update. I haven’t been working the market much or making investments but the one I did make in Gerrit Cole looks like a disaster. I should’ve sold after the jump to 90. Didn’t anticipate the drop yesterday after one bad outing. His numbers overall are better than Strider but he jumps to 90 and meanwhile baseball’s best hitter Acuna is still at 89. Really odd update.

Is the game down? I can’t get into anything with out it crashing

How is Cole still 18K and he is 90 overall now? The cost has hardly gone up and meanwhile Verlander and other 90s are still a fortune.

What more do you want with him? He already has Maxed out contact and 98/ 121 power. You want fielding and speed? Is is an endgame card at 1B.

Hate to tell you but he isn't even as good as Vlad Jr....he won't be better than Lou. He isn't better than Papi.

BTW — I got a veggie sandwich from Jimmy John’s. It’s ok.

My money is on Orioles Chris davis. He just retired so getting a Signature Series card as a farewell and well earned tip o the cap.

Hahaha - could you imagine! They won't give Dennis Eckersley a 99 ovr who had arguably one of the best seasons of all-time by a closer ('92 he won the MVP and Cy Young). He did hit 53 HRs one year though...

Yes he is. Absolutely rakes and is one of the best cards in the game.

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. I have no idea what is going but the game seems so laggy lately. Late on everything even though swings are on time.

Same. Two of my favorite players in the game, especially Hornsby. Such a great swing.

Doesn't he already have a high diamond LS and a HR derby? Seriously doubt they give him another. They may go with walker as the lightning but most likely votto since he's only a gold.

A Soto that could competently play the field would be my dream!

Votto had a month worthy of the card, but I'd imagine they'd want to go with another big favorite here. Everyone loves Soto's swing and he's had a massive month. They gave JRam a bunch of cards last year so I don't think they'd shy away based on his other versions available already. You could definitely be right though.

The game is in a very rough spot. I can’t believe I’m saying this but it’s the worst it has ever been. My last game was a nail biter where I struck out my opponent a whopping 23 times. However, I still gave up 5 runs. Almost every time he touched the ball it was a home run. He’d get men on base with a strikeout passed ball, then launch the next pitch with a contact swing where his PCI was no where near the ball. I eventually beat him 7-5 and had several balls that were squared up in the middle of the PCI that resulted in weak fly balls. I don’t really know what to say about the state of the game. I’m not the greatest player in the world by a long shot but did go 12-0 twice last year and have been playing since ‘18. All Star is in the worst spot it’s ever been and contact swing is compounding the issues with gameplay. It’s a bummer considering it’s a game I love to play. Nothing groundbreaking here, and sounds like a lot of people are having the same problems, but it’s not fun when you are fearing you’ll lose to a player who literally can’t put the pci on the ball.

I’ve almost finished the TA’s and I’ve only pulled Bregman

I created a Catcher in RTS. My archetype now says he can play SS and in my DD lineup it lists as a secondary position. He looks completely out of position. Brutal animations, botches routine grounders, has almost zero room for error on the throwing meter. Anyone else experience this? Is it a bug? He has 80 fielding and other solid fielding categories.

Played a bunch today and to me it was a night and day difference. Appreciate you taking the time responding to this!
