I'd bet on him or Pedro being one based on that clue - with all the great RF they've released lately (Harper, Acuna, Clemente, Betts, Vlad), I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't Hank yet and the clue is for Pedro.
Doubt it’d be him, but Puckett could also be a possibility

It's got to be someone that they've already had in the game. If it was Aaron or Pedro; pretty sure they would've thrown the word 'Legend' in there.

Yadier Molina because I would assume it would be someone who has had other 98s and stuff I bet they give him a 99 because he only has this and maybe next season. He also deserves a ninety nine but they probably don’t want to make him a super late inning because that wouldn’t make sense.

My money is on Orioles Chris davis. He just retired so getting a Signature Series card as a farewell and well earned tip o the cap.

I thibk they mean first ever 99 card which would eliminate Tatis since he had one last year. I could be wrong tho. I think FS Adley or Milestone Kerry Wood or one of the new legends -

and....eh, I don't really have a clue but I'll say Eddie Mathews. He was either BR or WS reward last year so I think he'd be easier to obtain this year.First two would fit the "His first 99..." thing.

I interpret that clue as a card that has been in the game in prior years that has gotten diamonds before but never a 99. So cards like Adley, Yadier Molina, and Kerry Wood that have all been mentioned above fits that description. Even tho technically the clue also applies to new legends like Pedro and Hank, I feel like they wouldnt have used that specific wording for these kind of cards
