Yeah, regardless of anyone’s opinion of any other part of TA3, there’s no denying this is a positive. Makes me wonder if mini seasons is the way to go this TA (if you’re not an online player). Mini seasons is still the best source of repeatable packs, and now it’s easier to get vouchers.

All I know is that I definitely feel how much slower this TA has already been. I’ve played nearly nonstop since 2:00 yesterday afternoon, and I’ve finished 52% of AL central… that’s it.

Mini seasons seems by far the fastest offline method.
Should be between the four repeatable goals (saves, hits, division xp, boss xp) you should be getting at least 20k per 5 games pretty easily. And 15 vouchers for 45k xp over the season. With the part 3 boss missions giving 10k once each it wiill start to move fast once you get over the first 60k

Oh yeah, it's always the junk ballers we get for these types of moments. Waino and Mikolas for the Cards, Hendricks for the Cubs, Montgomery for the Yankees. I keep expecting to see Rich Hill or even Jamie Moyer as moments seem to always be against soft tossing lefties too.

I've had hitters hit Homeruns or great hits off me on balls clearly out of the zone and with timing in the yellow... Something seems off here....

Brutal. The lock in thing was an issue for me last year. I haven't seen it too much this year. But I'd be pissed.

It's things like this that ruin a session. I have no issues with losses. And this game was actually a nail-biting pitchers dual which I was enjoying even though I absolutely could not hit Crochet (That's another topic). But to give up runs like this just ruins the experience. It wasn't user error.

I am home a lot in online rated. I'd say 70% . I'm not that good or anything but do have a solid connection.

Out of 12 DD RS games, I've had 1 home game.

It's wild, isn't it? I'd love to know what determines this because if I'm never going to play at home I see no reason to spend time doing a created stadium.

I heard that if you have create a stadium and play anyone on last gen console, you are automatically away since they cant play at a created stadium. Im not sure if it works like that or not

I believe it actually will only match you up with a fellow Next Gen user

Yeah again unsure of how it works. I would think what you are saying would be the best way anyways but I heard a streamer say that if you use a created stadium, you would be away a lot

The Show 20 doesn't show up on the list, but The Show 19 does. That's not a great sign.

If course the answer could be as simple as they gave MLB '19 away free to all PS Plus users last October.

I made a post about MTOs a couple weeks ago talking about many of the things that were brought up here. I think MTO is a great way to actually enjoy the game. I've started watching all the cut scenes and taking my time in between pitches. Some of the visual angles and detail that the stadiums have are really awesome to take in. You don't notice those things when you are focusing on getting an event win or leveling up in ranked playing in some generic, non real stadium.

@SteelyMacBeam gets the credit for the post. It's just a nice change of pace to be discussing this game in a positive light. MTO is so enjoyable and the presentation aspect like you mentioned is one that is widely over looked. I normally switch to the full broadcast presentation for the postseason as it just adds to it.

I really like where they have taken this mode from 19 to 20 and hopefully they continue to build on it.

My personal opinion but if you are in Showdown and get Good/Good or better it should be a hit no matter what. It seems massively unfair that the game simply chooses not to let you win certain missions to make it harder on you.

I understand the Head to Head not always being a hit, but in a mode like this where you pay to enter, the AI shouldn't dictate whether or not you gain progress.

I had 2 veteran missions in the 2nd inning program. The first I needed to score 3 runs. Put 4-5 good/goods all of which went right at guys. Next mission I had bases loaded and needed to walk it off by scoring one run. Good/Squared Up and right at the center fielder. I honestly feel cheated.

One of my favorites, I had Rattles perk activated. Three ground balls in same inning, all 3 fielded with ease and no error. And another time it was activated and the CF made a fantastic diving catch.

Did you have RISP? Because I'm pretty sure that one is only active when you have RISP, unless I'm not remembering a second rattled perk.

Each level of Rattled has different requirements, the one you are talking about is silver I believe. I dont remember which I had, but I know it was activated because the indicator popped up.

Obviously not the games biggest flaw, but it's mildly annoying. Some of these take long enough to complete without having to hit with no hitting objectives.

It’s a minor inconvenience, but it’ll always be like that until they implement the DH into DD.
