My personal opinion but if you are in Showdown and get Good/Good or better it should be a hit no matter what. It seems massively unfair that the game simply chooses not to let you win certain missions to make it harder on you.

I understand the Head to Head not always being a hit, but in a mode like this where you pay to enter, the AI shouldn't dictate whether or not you gain progress.

I had 2 veteran missions in the 2nd inning program. The first I needed to score 3 runs. Put 4-5 good/goods all of which went right at guys. Next mission I had bases loaded and needed to walk it off by scoring one run. Good/Squared Up and right at the center fielder. I honestly feel cheated.

The mode is not out to get you. You are not being targeted. The “fairness” is equal across all players. It is quite simple if your a patient hitter and wait for your pitch. Line outs happen. Hendricks shut me down once without a run scored. But showdown is the most productive offline mode for my time. (XP, stub profit, TA players) it’s all fair man I hope stage 2 is much harder

I don't think it will be harder. They are just changing it so people don't stack vouchers from this stage.

Wait for your pitch huh? That’s cool until a good-ok or perfect-perfect line out multiple times. Waiting for your pitch doesn’t apply in a game controlled by rng. It’s throwing dice and hoping for the best.

You realize good/good is third best in terms of contact results. 1st being perfect/perfect (insert early/okay jokes here) and 2nd being good/squared.

Why should bronze and silver medal effort be awarded gold medal prizes?

I’ve had the same happen to me plenty of times and I accept it for what it is. You’re not a bad player just unlucky. Sometimes it’s just better to be lucky than good

One of my favorites, I had Rattles perk activated. Three ground balls in same inning, all 3 fielded with ease and no error. And another time it was activated and the CF made a fantastic diving catch.

    Git gud. LOL JK.

Yeah I've noticed that you have to swing at pitches down the center of the plate. Also things get easier when you get more perks and become a more patient hitter. It also translates well online. I have been able to win games online due to the sweatyness (if that is a word) of showdown.

@Billy_Little_ I’m talking about the boss battles. IDR care about the mission success bc I know I’m good if I go into final with 9 or more runs and that’s easy to do.. I’m talking bout wait for your pitch in boss games. more patience = more success FOR ME anyhow might be diff for you

Did you have RISP? Because I'm pretty sure that one is only active when you have RISP, unless I'm not remembering a second rattled perk.

Each level of Rattled has different requirements, the one you are talking about is silver I believe. I dont remember which I had, but I know it was activated because the indicator popped up.
