Come on, man....Don't come in here with logic and reason when I am pi**ed off at SDS

So far I have over 200k in stubs missing, my mini season record shows 7-8 when it actually should show 14-1, I just played a Central Conquest game only to have it not register and it shows I have to beat that stronghold again.....Add in the gameplay issues that I won't go into as RAES has summarized nicely, and it is a mess....But I keep playing.

The Show is the only video game I tend to play due to my love of baseball.(I have a PS5 and have bought other games but they just sit there).

SDS has not handled my ticket (they said they fixed it, which was not done and no response to my numerous responses requesting they look at it again), no word on the other issues...

Honestly it is sad...Sad that this outlet for me has been made hollow, and sad that I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt.....But shame on me for continually playing

You hit the nail on the head.....It has been a long history of when they patch in fixes, something else breaks or things consistently get worse.....Disappointing, as you know I have the same monitor as you and @raesONE_PSN (thanks to both of you for helping get it going).

I did buy an Xbox X as that has been a plan for awhile and find the game just plays better there...no idea how a sony studio can make that the case...

Amen!!!! We have discussed this in length, and as you know, I went for playin f this game for fun since inception to diving in like you during the pandemic with DD and the same addiction. I had every card the last two years and was a slave to flipping and getting better.

Burned me out and became not fun, all while SDS laughed at me while not improving the product for fools like me.

No way I get every card this year, have gone 7 days in this game cycle without playing or caring which I never though would happen .

Hope we can finally get a league where we play each other ( even regular non DD league) and people don’t worry about missing out on grinding and falling behind with “their team”.

Classy response, thank you . I have a down syndrome uncle ( remarkably still alive at age 63) who is an amazing person so that’s a touchy thing for me.

It is true. Once they decide they are contact swinging, you can put the ball a foot out of the zone inside or outside or absolutely in the dirt, and it is a foul ball.

I hear you, brother. I’ve experienced almost everything you mentioned, albeit on a smaller scale and have come to a conclusion similar to yours. I kept playing to fulfill a competitive drive that’s harder to come by as you get older. However, for various reasons (feels like a rat race, lack of sportsmanship, etc), it doesn’t do it for me anymore.

I know many have exclaimed that they’re done with a game, only to come back the next year. I’m not one of them. I’m hanging it up for any ultimate team style game after this year. I’m gonna do my best to just enjoy my final ride this year and no longer play to seek ultimate team style rewards.

Well spoken, Shawn....I have already decided I am not flipping this year and for the first time don't care about collecting every card, but I do want what I have earned and for the game to reflect what has actually "happened" via the games I have played. Doesn't seem like a tall ask, right?

As someone that has been saving for the last two weeks to get Trout and was pacing to get him today, the moving of the goal posts was unfortunate. Between this and the fact that my game crashes to the dashboard every 3-4 games, I am trending to give up the grind early this year. Last year was my first one playing and I really enjoyed it, but this year’s game feels more similar to the Madden and NBA 2K [censored] that I happily quit. Such is the state of gaming and other than this post, I am not going to complain or waste inordinate amounts of time playing anymore (not that anyone cares).

Nah, I hear you. I dabbled in MUT (Madden) and MyTeam (2K), but it eventually sucked the joy out of the game for me. This (DD) is the longest I’ve stayed in an ultimate team mode and I think it’s finally time for me to hang it up as well.

I really just grind this out so that if a friend and I play, we have cards to work with. But what’s the point if all we’re doing is constantly grinding in order to get those cards at the expense of ever playing each other lol

Sounds awful familiar. Every league I joined (as you know) has turned into this exact thing...

Wtf you talking about 120hz was an Xbox last year this is nothing new. SDS just addressed this and more to come

I always thought you were one of the most consistent level headed guys on here. Almost always liked and agreed with your comments.

What do we think the Halliday card will be? Milestone? Awards? Sig? It would be cool if it was a Takashi card. Right now I'm more concern with collection prep so the type of card matters. Thanks for the list.

To be honest I think we see a 95 overall All Star or Takashi series card

the word EXTREME should be no where near conquest in this program. The turn based goals are a joke, a monkey can beat this map......It should be called "kind of time consuming" conquest..... The USA map would be more extreme due to more games and sims.....

We need SDS to give 2 of the 3 bosses in the program if they are going to run out these 3!

Major bummer, this was my favorite stadium last year.

Yeah, when you get roughly 1/3 of the points to lock in those cards (although it does say required), very disappointing.....Nice job, keep up the great work, programmers!!!!
