Exactly what would you sue them for?
You said you dont buy stubs and the packs you opened were rewards from completing content.
No, I've bought every choice pack this year, but have never paid for stubs. People do, and do buy stubs to afford the costs of that. Also, I would say somewhere down the line the flipped cards I used were paid for by someone. That's still money.
Not arguing for a suit, or saying there is a wrongdoing, but my individual experience does not reflect their advertised "odds" which involve transactions with an in-game monetized currency.
Again moreso - is there actually data to support they are actually providing 1:3/1:3 Diamonds? If not they are advertising that and even a fraction off could be taking money from actual people out there.
I really, really don't understand why so many people are so behind a multibillion dollar company that could easily provide the data.
I care for the people who work there, but if it could be no people and all profit, the board would make that decision in a second. I'm lost in why if an algorithm that might be taking money from people is a good thing to defend.
(full disclosure - I have bought and some sold shares of SONY - and have made a minor profit, but wouldn't defend any company even ones I still own.
It's foolish because the capitalist system we live in dictates that you all only matter as far as your contribution to the overall profit of these companies. If a .011 difference could make a difference in monetization albeit harming people with little chance of repercussion its worth it.
Sacklers are living high as billionaires after knowingly their choices killed people... absolutely no admission of guilt although their company was guilty of felonies. Greed is good!)
