Headliners choice pack question

So far this year I have bought every one from the shop.
It's 1:3 chance top diamond.
It's 1:3 chance lower diamondso far I've got two diamonds out of maybe 20-30 out of buying or winning out of conquest. Those numbers either mean I am extremely, extremely unlucky or they are completely lying about actual statistics.
I can make 25k stubs quickly as everyone can, but do they have any proof data to actually show their posted numbers match what they post?
Since they actually charge for stubs, it's basically gambling odds so they should be able to legally say we sold this many, and our data shows it was 1:3 odds.
I mean anyone out there a lawyer and could file a subpoena? Just as a case study I'd be interested. My sample size is small, but doesn't even come close to what they are promising.
I mean even if it came out to 1:3.25 in their data... that means they are falsely advertising for a monetized system of in game currency purchases.

Lol. Ask yourself what they have to gain by lying, certainly not enough money for the millions they'd lose in a lawsuit. You can't even nail down how many you've actually opened, is it 20 or 30?
-
First of all every 90+ is considered a high diamond. You can't even get low diamonds in the headliner choice pack. It's just 1:3 odds or 33%. Odds in whether you get a headliner card or a live series round isn't stated. Hard to file a lawsuit if your own understanding if how it works is wrong

You can? I've only seen headliners, 90+ live series, and golds

Even 20 would be way below 1 in 3 odds... so that is pointless to bring up.
Second, why would anyone count when playing a game especially when I know how to flip cards and make the mondy anyway.
Third, and most importantly MONEY!!!!! you can buy stubs people pay money for them! If you go play the lottery it's highly regulated and statisticians must get it exactly right or they will crumble under lawsuits.
I wouldn't pay for stubs, but people do and if they're being sold for a product that doesn't give them what it promised it's a problem.
also I got a great deal on snake oil for ya - cures everything ever - just hit me up

My apologies, I could have swore it was only 1:3 for a 90+ and 1:1 for gold

It's not pointless to bring up, any court case needs concrete data, if you can't provide that, then you will be laughed out.
Also I'd read my comment again very slowly, about the risk vs reward on SDS's sides, it's heavily skewed towards them losing, they would be posterboys for bad microtransactions and probably be sued into bankruptcy.

I have only got 90+ and golds too... although one was Arenado when he was expensive early... so I cashed it for live series. Worthless now.
I've at least got Tatis off regular packs this year, past years have got Trout off em twice... but you get so many of em who knows the odds.
I know the system isn't completely broken, just maybe flawed in what it advertises.

Thus, why I said subpoena the data. You don't have to actually sue if you raise reasonable concern, and they can prove their innocence with a simple release.
And bad programming happens all the time. It doesn't need to be nefarious. A single digit could be ripping off thousands of dollars just because of a mistake.
Also, don't be a tool. It's always profit over people. That is capitalism. You are only worth the money you provide or have in America.
Money is power, and greed is good.

Tbh you are just another person who really doesn't understand the legal system, but really wants to sound like you do.

Could very well be tied.

I can't file a subpoena. I am not a lawyer/atty.
And a judge would literally take a represented group on their word as it would be a simple thing for a company to prove.
It would be a small ask, especially on a simple data request which involves nothing proprietary just that a company is providing what it advertised, which happen all the time.

So since it happens all the time, please answer why EA or SDS hasn't been served a subpeona yet? If it's that simple, it would have happened years ago

Because no one cares it's a video game. Many gamers aren't taken care of and exposed to micro-transaction warfare by companies. I get it you love SDS and hope they get rich off people.
I'm not even advocating a suit or anything. I'm just saying I'd like to see they're providing what their promising especially because I haven't really seen the odds they're promising. If people are buying stubs with real money, and getting ripped off - go ahead and defend that. I don't like to see that.
Again full disclosure- when I buy the show... which i have many times... I buy it and get through by never paying a dime more. That's me. I can get 100K-300K Stubs in an hour no problem at the right times.
I was worried about the people that pay. You keep worrying about Sony with a market cap of $105B although an awful showing with a 35% ytd market drop on NYSE.

You are right. It is not that simple. I have made it out that way, and that is wrong.
Involves much more than a piece of paper. Which is why stuff like this isn't typically done. Not unheard of, but not typical.
Like I said I couldn't do it, nor do I actually accuse them of wrong, I'm just saying my experience doesn't back up their advertised numbers... ever in any year... for all I know profiles who start with the letter Z get 1:1 and M gets 1:10 and it all balances out. Who knows.
Just seeing what other people thought.

1:3 odds doesn't mean that 1 out of every 3 you buy will contain a Diamond. It means that 1 out of every 3 SOLD should contain a Diamond.
You may buy 3 packs back-to-back-back; but if 1000's of other people are buying them at the same time......
