Does contact not relate to batting average? Gallo's contact went up, yet he has a worse average? If those two aren't connected then so be it, but seems quite logical to me.

I think they need to start doing monthly updates. I know updates are how a.majority of people make their stubs; but to make someone Gold and then drop them back down two-four weeks later makes no sense.

Tapia went from silver to Gold in the last update. This update they dropped him back down to silver... He's been hitting same as before. Weird update.

At 1pm, I purchased 65 Jared Walsh cards at 3,001 stubs. From 12:58pm to 1:01pm I was unable to access the community market online lol. 65 orders in less than a minute lol. Won't have Chipper for a while.

I do think Walsh should be diamond, I'm just saying Gallo isn't a good 1 to 1 comparison given that he has diamond defense, he wouldn't be a diamond otherwise. First base defense isn't factored valued as much in ratings

The 90+ cards don't mean much after the 3rd inning, but that's why they give out so many, so that hopefully people play with the high 90's that they like, or their favorite players. Posada for instance will get a higher card, but people who love Posada have been using him since day 1 and may not switch until the higher 90+ Posada comes out.

Just my thoughts. It is what it is. Use who you want and with this system you won't be using a 78 against 93's.

They list Ohtani has a SP, so hit hitting upgrades don't boost him to a Diamond. I think that is what people were getting at. I don't believe it was a debate about whether he should be regarded as an SP or Hitter.

Our reaction times based on sleep and stimulants and all that are definitely a factor. That being said, sometimes a 95mph FB is harder to hit than a 98mph FB. Certainly the pitch mix you're seeing is a factor and then the confidence a pitcher has seems to be a huge factor if the opponent is using Pin Point Pitching. Even last year I felt that there may be too many factors going into the algorithms for hitting. Who knows?

I think what bugs me more is how bad it feels being "Good" timing, with decent PCI on the ball (not center cut but majority on the ball), while my opponent will have "late" or "early" timing, with decent PCI, and get base hits. And then, just to pile on, if you watch a streamer, they will get terrible PCI or be under a ball and blast it out for 400ft home runs. But I will pop out to SS if I am under the ball at all, even if the top of my PCI has the ball in it.

Love base, and I won't stop playing this game, but I will probably quit out of games as the year goes. End of Rant.

I don't think anyone truly knows, including SDS. They have so many algorithms going that to say which is effecting what, besides PCI size, seems impossible. My 2 cents.

Granted the newer Star Wars attempts are mostly garbage, but at least they were trying different stories and character arcs out.

Nostalgia is definitely a part of the appeal. However, the storytelling and cinematography of The Mandalorian has been exceptional when compared to the new movie Series they released. This show feels like Star Wars, where the most recent movies, especially the Trilogy, has felt like something else entirely.

The Mandalorian feels like Star Wars. I think that is why it's successful. Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are the true heirs of the Star Wars universe.

I was dominating with Seager and I have been utterly failing him for the past week. I think he is 1 for 30 now? I don't know, I definitely blame myself. He was hitting just about .400 and is now down to less than .330

I refuse to take him out of my lineup. I will get the magic back!

Now is American history spotless and flawless? No, of course not. Nobody is perfect. But screwing over Native Americans was mostly Andrew Jackson's thing.

I would say that there was a lot more racism and problems than just the Andrew Jackson thing. The U.S. had been screwing them over before Jackson and after Jackson. Native Americans had a lot of stuff happening to them up until the 1900's when things started to get better. They were treated poorly and ostracized for decades.

No country is spotless though.

I think they have a couple of dartboards with the different options. One board for Innings, one board for QC or not, one board for # of Rewards, another for how many wins to get to the Rewards, and so on. They break this out in as many ways as possible, with as many boards as possible, and let everyone throw one dart, at one board each to determine the event.

This is the only explanation.

I think this shows it is more about money than the principle behind it. I imagine it would cost more to change a logo for one season then do it again the following season. Also, let's be honest here. I think most Tribe fans are much more likely to buy Indians gear this upcoming season than Cleveland Baseball Team gear. Again, it seems mostly about money and optics which is pretty sad.

I wouldn't say that. They feel the winds changing and it is better to get in front of it than be hit the way the football team was. They are probably trying to sell through the rest of the Indians type gear, maybe? It would be a lot of money to try and produce all of the new Team Gear before the 2021 season, especially with the way Covid has hit the world. Containers from overseas are so backlogged, it's insane. Anything businesses expected to land around now, won't get stateside for another month or two, unless they pay out the b u t in fees.

So money is a bit of a factor but I think the rest is good faith for their community.

Either way, going from the 92 to the 95, you lose stats that would reduce the PCI, but gain control of your pitches more better... Terrible card.
