So... If you know this already, I get it, old news, it's not meant for you and I acknowledge you're cooler than me... But if you are one of the losers like me who don't know it's old news and didn't know it's a thing you do now...

I believe since it's a friendly quit that he didn't get hit with the L. He might not get a win but doesn't get a loss.

People care about the number of losses in events? Wow.

It was in a ranked game. Don't get hit with loss and you're pitchers don't lose stamina.

Nothing from DD is stored locally on your console. Just login with your credentials and good to go.

*Road to the show does save locally though

It was in the past, but they couldn't implement it properly which led to people being able to use previously saved lineups in events where the lineup didn't meet the event card type restrictions.

Yeah. I usually average like a 10-2 record in events averaged out as far as you want to go. Think I’m like 9-5 and a bunch of my wins have been legit close games. It’s hard to win in this event. The noobs are gone. It’s lifers now. Also, all star is torture.

Pitching on all star makes me hate the game. Hitting is fun obviously, but pitching is so bad.

Weird, I have both Sale and Feller and they both have the best outings of any of my pitchers, Sale actually just pitched a complete game shutout to put me at 852 rating. I would easily rate them as top 4 options in the game.

Feller has a below 2.00 ERA and I think Sale's dropped to 2.26 after this latest outing.

But everyone has different pitching styles, I guess Sale and Feller just work for my style.
Feller was ok, just nothing special and his FB doesn't seem to get by people like Woods, which is weird. The sinker seems to come in at a manageable speed, but not slow enough to drop a lot so that was getting tagged and the slider and changeup would hang on me a lot.

How do you work Sale? Tunneling the FB and changeups? It seems that once the OP get's a feel for where the pitches start all they have to do is look for the speed and pick the spot with a R handed batter. Against lefty's he's almost unhittable but outside of Ruth/Gehrig and sometimes Cobb I wasn't facing a whole lot of them.

Fastballs in, sliders away on lefties, fastballs away (and occasionally low and in), sliders low and in to righties.

yeah, that's how I was using him, and he was getting rocked by righties.. maybe I'll give him another shot throwing more sliders.

Sorry man but every stat counts. Don’t listen to the people that say otherwise. Everyone was screaming vision didn’t matter and then SDS replied to some thread that it most certainly does. It has that rating for a reason. So decent PCI placement will result in a HR with him more often than not

Game freezes, so a freeze of situation and I wait, but then after awhile screen pops up says I forfeit.

I'm in the 700's now trying to advance further and I keep running into BS. Freeze offs, slow play, and all sorts of nonsense from players trying to scum a win.

Also how does the in game report system work? I havn't been able to find it an dthe PS one just refers back to the game.

Not sure how it works, but it has happened to me also.

I Like the idea as well, however I think the earliest we see a end game program is November unfortunately. You are so right about there being so many great cards to chose from though, and I have a ton I need to prestige.

Just played a great game with some guy from Guam. Final score was 13-12 and it was back and forth from the start.

In the 6th inning I scored a few and hit a GS with Torre to take a 13-5 lead. I brought Goose in and then Rivera and essentially just tried to hang on as all of a sudden everything he hit fell into gaps of went over the fence and every tough pitch I threw got fouled off, even changeups and sinkers in the dirt and off the zone.

I was 700 he was 650ish... Here's hoping I'll get of of this All Star trap going forward.

I wish the game would alert you once you get matched up if you are playing AS or HOF when you are still in that 700-750 window where it could be either. Picking the appropriate pitcher is crucial as some just do not work on AS but are fantastic on HOF

I feel ya, I started Feller. This guy was a pretty good hitter and I had a pretty good hitting game for me. I just think it's really something that every game on AS is a huge sweat to close it out. It becomes impossible to strike anyone out and there end up being like 3x the hits than normal.

Not that they're necessarily better, but they ARE selling a product (online subscriptions) and in order to justify the expense for the consumer, they've got to incentive the purchase.

As a mostly-offliner, it goes against my own interests to recognize that the mostly onliners should be rewarded. But I do understand why.

This feelings like RS lite. I want to play events to have fun, escape the intense grind that is RS and/or work on prestiging players. I like the short 3 inning games, or quick counts. This event, just like the last one checks none of these boxes.

That wasn't my intention in starting this, but it's literally part of the game. I just had a game where it was close, I was losing 2-1 in the 7th and got the win because of a disconnect. Maybe that has nothing to do with being the home team but I personally see an advantage to being home connection and lag wise. As people wise up to this it may start to get difficult to even get a game. This is def. something that needs to be addressed going forward.

I'd like to see dedicated servers, even at the expense of an increase in price. And more transparency, this would be really fun if this could get to E-Sport level quality and competition, and that would mean patching all of these exploits like the home team and freezeouts, etc.
