Thoughts on J-ram, Mondesi, and RS debut game I just played.

My plan before the POM drop was to run Schmidt, Tatis, and Honus in the infield and that plan just got completely blown up by J-ram and Modesi.
Just played probably the best, most fun game on the show. Went 10 innings at Laughing Mountain, pretty fair contest, some luck on both sides. I used every one of my bench players.
J-ram's D is basically on par with Brett's, solid but not as flashy as Schmidt. His righty numbers trump Schmidts, his lefty numbers are basically Didi's POM card.
Mondesi's card makes no sense and the fact that it's not a 99 blows my mind. I guess the Vision and discipline hurt him there, but solid D at 2nd where I'm going to run him, top end speed, bunting, and good contact from the left and 125/125 against lefties... C'mon. Honus is on the bench, and that may actually be the best place for him.
Tatis is, well Trout Jr. at short.
in the 9th Mondesi tied up the game with a Perfect Perfect BOMB from the left side of the plate after some pinch running and an off the bench Musial hit a double off Gagne. Off the bench Posey hit an op double to score Wagner in the 10th for the win.
Wagner (running for J-Ram), Cobb (running for Walker), Hornsby , and Musial (PH for Torre) all pinch hit or pinch ran then Posey came in to catch.
Defensively I lost nothing and while Wagner and Cobb don't have the power of the guys they replaced into extra innings I want contact and speed.I also pitched Gibson for the 1st time and honestly, even though he gave up some runs a lot of the hits against him were weak or lucky down the liners followed by some HR's. Yelich hit a dinger off him, as did Playoff Yasmani, but I feel like the guy I played was a pretty good hitter and even though the game ended 8-7 (Gibson gave up 4 or 5) it wasn't that bad in reality because of how guys got on base. We were both high 600's and it was on AS.
Really fun game, really fun cards to play, all3 Jram, Mondesi, and Gibson.

Thanks for the great review. Much better then the typical x player is good or bad and that being it.

Np, ill answer any questions i can, still getting a feel for these guys... all the players who said they skipped the pom to sell for stubs are nuts if you ask me.. aside from the other great cards, these 2 alone are worth the price of admission

Yea JRam just won me a game by hitting a 2run bomb in the eighth with tie game. Loving him and Mondesi so far. On other news I’m slumping with mantle

Mondesi walkoff bomb off the 1st pitch leading off the inning against Chapman. Welcome to the team!
