New PS4/5 question

my ps4 is on it's last legs, I'm probably going to pick up a pro and then a ps5 nest year when they come in stock. Is all my show progress and cards and whatnot saved online or do I have to transfer them over? I do think I have most of the newer games saved on an external hard drive.

Nothing from DD is stored locally on your console. Just login with your credentials and good to go.
*Road to the show does save locally though
