Maybe it's not that big a deal but if I were you I'd probably retire the name "GlitchMagic". It doesn't exactly give off the vibe of an honest and fair player.

This person admitted to the error and has open remorse. It's very commendable. There's a lot of credibility in most of what he writes.

I wish that he wasn't banned for a year, but as others have pointed out, there's other ways to get back in the game. Yeah, it will cost you another copy of the game, but it's early enough in the year to catch up.

I’m trying to figure out my next move. But rebuying the game ain’t happening. Like I’ve said previously. I think I’ll ride it out on mlb 21 till the next one comes out. Next year I’ll know what not to do. Hopefully I’m not banned on the new game next year at time of release.
Bright side now is instead of making excuses to friends on why I can’t get together on the weekends because I’m grinding the show. I guess I will be able to partake!

My earlier comments weren't meant in a derogatory manner. I've served on interview committees and taken micro courses on the do's and don'ts. We as humans have biases and sometimes, we don't even recognize them. My suggestion was based on being in your shoes and wanting to remove even that opportunity for someone to pass misplaced judgement. In the end you may not even care. Apologies if you were offended earlier.

SDS did the right thing by banning innocents inadvertantly. Every minute these stubs and activity is out there, it becomes harder to unravel and causes more harm to the market. This year, the market has been more stable than ever. People haven't been making millions flipping. That says it all.

SDS has the data to back up ANY claim of innocence. If you are in fact innocent, send in your ticket. Be polite. Cite some dates and transactions. It will only help expedite.

Like many other "veterans" of this community, it's not "our" population affected by this. Why? We know better man. Simple, and factual statement. We've seen shady stuff over the years and know that you either buy stubs via the appropriate parties, or earn them through the game.

Streamers advertising 3rd party stub sellers and people thinking those sales are legit, I don't have sympathy for. Those same streamers are likely getting kick back from those 3rd party sellers.

I'm sure there are innocent people that have been banned. I get it. Innocent before proven guilty works with laws, but not private companies in an online virtual environment that you agree to use under those terms, everytime you log in.

the streamers should get banned too for advertising said sites

What was your "market manipulation"? I have to assume it was pretty extreme if you were banned for a year.

Mine said the same I think. I personally just paid $21 on some site. Hour later I got email saying your order had been filled. Next morning banned. I guess I manipulated the fact I only paid $21 instead of $100. I want my shohei preorder bat back lol. Honestly it sux. But I’m shutting up and moving on now. Don’t recommend anyone doing it though.

How did they send you the stubs? I would imagine that was the problem.

They logged into my account and sent them from another. Don’t recommend it as I said.

When did you get banned? Did you try logging on 24 hours later? Not sure why some get one day bans and some longer. I had no part in the bots buying the trouts and all that I just bought stubs. Picked the wrong day to buy I suppose. I wasn’t trying to manipulate the market, I was trying to contribute to the market ‍️

Saw someone claim they were banned for just one day for the same thing. Buying stubs. My ticket said 364 days. Didn’t bother checking to see if I could get back on today. Will try after work tonight. Just curious as to how the suspension times work? Yes this was my first ever ban. A year sounds a little brutal but I’m ok with whatever. Just gave me some glimmer of hope when I saw the other guys post. I tried to post in it and the thread was quickly shut down. I dunno.

Figured I’d take one for the team! on the bright side it gives me a year off from what has been a very disappointing game. At least on my end. I had been unable to do anything in mini-seasons. My created player can’t play a 2nd season of Rtts. Sent a ticket a couple weeks ag about mini-seasons. No response. Probably wouldn’t have been tempted but so hard for the working man to keep up. Especially when the modes do not work for all. Is what it is. Just don’t believe the YouTubers who claim that it’s ban free. It’s not. Live and learn!

Well I got banned for buying stubs from a 3rd party. Don't recommend doing it. You will most likely get caught. I tried it and sure enough I got banned for a year it says.

Yeah well its not happening anymore. Once I selected to be a pitcher it will not give the option to go back to 2 way. Perhaps in the second season it allows you to do so. However, with that being absolutely broke at the moment (perhaps forever). There is no way for me to change it back. Was experimenting and it back fired on me. Oh well. Really disappointed with the game this year.

Finally chose to be a starting pitcher just to see how it would go. Now I want to go back to being a 2 way player and can not do it. It may let you in the second season of rtts but seeing how we can't play a second season as it freezes after the first. I'm not able to do so. Anyone have a work around to go back to a 2 way player without losing the progress of your current player? Thanks. Hopefully SDS fixes the beta version and gives us the full game which most of us paid for.
