Many players circle swing in real life. Jeff McNeil does it all the time.

Does he stream himself hitting the circle button?

In real life a batter with 2 strikes that isn’t just swinging for the fences would use circle.

No they would choke up and shorten their swing. Seems a lot harder than switching the button they press to just foul off every pitch every where. But please keep correlating hitting a different button to top level baseball players.

Circle is the video game version of choking up.

Fingers crossed it’ll thin out the forum in the process.

It’s not used for any skillful purpose. It’s used to flail at every pitch and foul it off over and over with no penalty except getting an out for people flailing around any way who already have a batter with 2 strikes. The fact that’s in the game makes me believe the people who make the game barely play it.

Somebody tell me one thing you use contact swing for other than that?

It’s used to get a single when a runner is on 2nd or 3rd because not everyone needs a home run and some players (not the gamers but the baseball players) can’t hit them.

Skippractice is the annoying one.

It’s almost like the game is 2 weeks old and you don’t know how the rest of it will play out.

Until I came back to this forum, I didn’t realize how many people play a game about baseball that seem to never watch the actual game of baseball.

Seriously, what has happened that I am no longer just naturally accumulating stubs this year? At least last year if you would just grind BR or most other modes, you’d get multiple sellable silver or gold cards that would go for quite a bit and accumulate lots of stubs. This year my stub total seems to be crawling.

Needless to say, if the strategy is to get us to buy more stubs, I ain’t doing it!

I’d never defend a company for over reliance on microtransactions but they are getting shafted over at Microsoft. They just give the game away for free. They gotta make up that lost revenue somewhere.

@Dookie-Possum_XBL Limit it to your own home stadium. If they can’t do that then eliminate it.

On an unrelated but related subject Core cards. Any card you take the time to P5 should become a Core card.

It could have been almost anyone in the league and been better than last year.
