These XBox people really make me wish EA would make a game so this game could go back to PlayStation only. The quality slipped massively starting in 2021 and will definitely skyrocket once they have a reason to dump Microsoft and Nintendo.

@onix_savage22_psn I would take the Sox as my second team. I live in New England and watch a ton of games in NESN. They have a lot of fun young players. You should take the Sox. They also have great division opponents.

@stinkymcpooter_xbl Do you think scanning players faces is done with an iPhone or something? They showed the massive amount of equipment involved on one of their streams. They’re not lugging that around the country. Every NL team visits San Diego and every AL team is either in San Diego or a couple hours away in LA.

If you think they use the same thing we use for Road to the Show face scan they don’t. Mine looks more like Babe Ruth and if that was the case they can just do it and submit it themselves. Which means they definitely don’t wanna be in the game.

I usually play 2 of them. My favorite team (Dodgers) and another team (Athletics last year), I haven’t chosen a second this year yet. I always say stick to your favorite team.

Good chance the only time outside ST they get players scanned is when they play games at San Diego.

My point above about Mike Trout was it doesn’t matter how good someone is suppose to be. They aren’t now what Mike Trout was and they couldn’t get him in the game. It matters if someone wants to be scanned. You struck out swinging on 1 pitch.

He must not know that the Rays and Diamondbacks came into existence in 1998. A year after 42 was retired and they both retired it per MLB rules. So if his intentions are to create a team from scratch they’d have to also retire 42.

@PAinPA_PSN Exactly. It came from the President of Sony. He said MLB told them to put the game out for all the consoles. As a franchise player I think the multi consoles is why they can’t do year to year saves.

@kalebbro12_nsw I honestly don’t think so. It’s only on consoles outside of PlayStation because MLB was gonna take the license away if they didn’t make the game available for XBox and Nintendo.

Mike Trout was in the league for 7 years and was a 2 time MVP before he let them use his real image. They don’t have the right to scan you until you let them scan you.

Bruce Sutter retired 10 years before the league retired 42 so he never wore it because of the grandfather rule.

I don’t see anything Nike related stuff in sponsorship. They probably don’t have them or at least not at the moment.

They definitely have more than top 100. I’m looking at Jake Gelof right now on my AA team. Myself personally I find those rosters give worse results than going with what the game has.

Is Edwin Diaz glitched out or something? When you bring him into games at home it does absolutely nothing but place him on the mound.

@dolenz_psn I use Dynamic and my pitching staff is from 1910. Through 78 games my ERA is 2.23 and I don’t tweak the sliders because it’ll minimize Gameplay XP which I want for DD progress. I’m on pace for about 350 homeruns as a team.

@the_joneser_psn Awesome that you did make a trip out there. My cousin went to teach English while in college way back in the early 2000s and ended up falling for one of his co-workers. He’s been there ever since.

The PS5 Pro is definitely worth the extra money. I can see a lot of differences even in this game with the lighting in the stadiums. I can read the scoreboards better because everything looks much cleaner. I upgraded just before last years game. The pro features are obviously much better for something like Crimson Desert. I wanted to get ahead of GTA VI when I upgraded to the pro.

@The_Joneser_PSN It says Pro enhanced. I figured I would be fine since it’s in the store. I just pre ordered it. I have visited my cousin and his family a few times and have been to some Hanshin Tigers games. That’s the local team near his house. So I get some Japanese words but I’m hoping they have the same thing this game does with languages and lets you somehow swap the language.

@the_joneser_psn I had to set up a Japanese PSN to get the game to work. I only knew I could even do this because my cousin lives in Japan. He sent me the game and told me what to do in order to play.

I would have done the same as you if needed but was lucky to get the digital at launch then traded it for the digital pro model. I pre-reserved it though which is how I got one.

I agree on what you said about DD crowd not playing. I basically play DD on the side but usually run 2 franchises. I’m not doing it because of this game. Not much for a retired person these days.
