I quit playing. Only played franchise but for as basic as it is, its still buggy and missing some QoL features. SDS has become EA Lite. OOTP or just done with baseball games.

Only Bruce Sutter is earned with normal gameplay (in mini seasons)

You are prolly done 007 already, that game was comically short

Its never been fixed apparently. Just made me flat out quit playing my franchise and the game. Even getting down to 26 it moved people from it to waivers and brought guys i just sent down, back up.

There is so much they left out of franchise or just flat out overlooked. I got a thread about some QoL changes that would help but sadly i don't think they will ever come to the game

Here is another glaring oversight.

At the start of the playoffs, you can no longer see your splits for position players. As in v RHP v LHP.

At the LEAGUE / STATISTICS screen it only shows playoff stats.
At the PLAYERS PROFILE screen, it only shows career stats, which leaves off L v R splits

I am trying to set my playoff roster since the game moved some players i had on my MLB roster ALL SEASON back down to AAA. This is ridiculous.

I also noticed i offered a lot of suggestions and brought up bugs / missing features and didn't even get a response or acknowledgement from a SDS team member. Its things like this plus a lot of what i mentioned above, that is strongly pushing myself to save my money next year and just go back to OOTP

Tried that. Can't get it figured out. No reason this [censored] should do this. Its an obvious testing failure on there end. I have to keep loading up the save and try to figure something out so it stop putting some players on waivers that i want to stay on the roster

I just want to know why we can't have ANTHONY as a audio for last name even though the audio is IN THE GAME already

And its still not fixed in 26

Sadly, nothing. If you really want to have updated rosters, you have to start again.

Or you could, you know, edit the players.

What I'm hoping from this, is the part where they talk about longevity and stability. I'm hoping they fix the ratings and such for the 1500 odd minor league players who all have C and D potential so the game is actually playable after 7 or 8 seasons.

What? You don't like players with attributes in the 50s and low 60s being your core? lol

i tried a few of the lower teams and get fired before you can properly turn it around without cheesing. the 3 year contract with very limited goals set by the CPU makes it difficult. This was another thing in franchise that was overlooked

Needed to add more goals for teams ( eg 10 more wins then last season, draft X position, etc ).

Stat tracking beyond a season? Pfft what do you think this is lol
We can't even see a players minor league career stats

Yep there are some animation issues with things like this that are just take too long to complete. Catcher animations with throwing out runners, IF cut off animations is another.

Have to lower basestealing ability to help counter it

PC modding would fix a lot wrong with franchise

Spring Training

Last day of spring training I set my lineups, rotation, send people down, etc. Advance to regular season and the game undoes what I just did. Calls people back up i just sent down, redoes batting order, starters, bullpen and rotation. I have everything set to manual.

This has to be a bug because if its designed like this, its absolutely braindead

This is another thing that needs to be addressed.

They are too cumbersome & slow. Needs to be a rating for this that is tied to FIELDING and/or ARM with new quick throw animations.

This is how all sports game are. Online, especially because of the pack gambling, brings in buckets of money.

Its why I pretty much have no intention of buying sport games in the future unless they seriously up the "franchise" modes of these games and not just do bare min and act like its something new, The Show included.

Wait a month after release to see how the games are
Even then if you want to get, id wait half way through the season when the game is maybe $20

Put players on your trade block and you will get some. I noticed that recently, soon as i slapped some on there i started getting offers. Also got offers when i put trade targets in too

Basically HR/9 matters if you are hands off in game.

I see it as ratings in the 50s are A/AA, 60s you are AA/AAA. 70 is MLB average player, be it call up, bench player, defensive guy & 80s you are a solid positive war player, 90s you an all star, build a team around type player.

If all of your contact attributes are grey ( 30s 40s 50s ) you are A or AA, especially in contact. That player Won-Bin Cho i just linked, he is in AA

That is NOT MLB Ready by any measure.

So what is the game looking at? Ratings? I don't see where outside of overall which is a 68 and even that would be poor play. Stats? In AA with that line above doesn't say MIL ready. Age? he is 23.

Thats it then, it sees his age and thinks ok his ETA is this season while disregarding the other attributes. There is a section in game, maybe draft or somewhere that has a legend at the bottom that says what the color codes / ratings equate too but i cant find it now
