It's not ripping them off. It is a PS5 function.

I mean... the patch they just put out had some Ballplayer fixes in it. I would assume the number of support tickets on the matter caused them to look into it. They could come out and say they are tracking it and everyone will then ask when will it be patched and they might not have that answer.

CAP was one of my favorite features of DD and after a day or two i just gave up...i can’t figure this out for the life of me

I use classic base running and hit L2 once, then once the pitcher begins his wind-up I hit L1 (I sometimes take an additional lead too, but not always)...this seems to prevent the slow start you can sometimes get otherwise.

I also find that after hitting L2 to steal, if I hold R1 I almost never get picked off...just remember to release R1 before hitting L1 like stated above...otherwise your runner will turn back to the bag he came from mid-way down the baseline.

Just a heads up...the secondary positions don't work in dd. Even if it says playing as a secondary position. in your roster he will play like he's out of position and drop almost everything especially 3rd strikes...also once past bronze there is no catcher primary on that tree. I still haven't figured out what tree leads to a diamond catcher if there is even an option for one

This is my problem and I am not a new player. For the new XBOX players the CAP and server issues has to be problematic.

Pretty bad when even us show vets can't figure this sit out lol

My fault. He was added as a Pitcher when I clicked the button to auto-set my line-up initially. Just saw that. I was going to delete this, but will keep it here in case it happens to you too.
