Stolen Bases this year???

Is there some new way to steal bases now? Billy Hamilton has 99/99 and always gets thrown out. I think he is like 0 for 6 so far for me. What is up? Is the extra lead basically mandatory now? Is there some new technique to get this to work?

I’m like 15/15 on stolen bases so far, idk. Pick your spots better I guess.

seems like guys that slidestep and really focus on the runner never give up a SB. Only ones I get is against people that suck or I really catch them off guard.

This is in DD Conquest. It's like Billy Hamilton is running in quick sand.

In DD Conquest Dee Strange Gordon has been a force for me on the base paths, 25 steals already. If he reaches first he might as well already be standing on 3rd.

So you just use L2, pump it once, and he auto runs to 2B, right? Billy keeps getting thrown out. So weird.

I use classic base running and hit L2 once, then once the pitcher begins his wind-up I hit L1 (I sometimes take an additional lead too, but not always)...this seems to prevent the slow start you can sometimes get otherwise.
I also find that after hitting L2 to steal, if I hold R1 I almost never get picked off...just remember to release R1 before hitting L1 like stated above...otherwise your runner will turn back to the bag he came from mid-way down the baseline.
