@imdfc_psn said in Cole, deGrom, Trout, or the International Conglomerate of Dodgers Diamonds?: These are the 4 things I need left to get Chipper Jones. Not sure what order I should go in, considering I have a destitute 134k Stubs. I'm thinking deGrom since it'll add a much needed lefty arm in the bullpen, as well as a quality starter, but man, that conglomerate sure is tempting For reference, I do already have Kershaw, Bauer, and Funcy, meaning I ONLY need to get Betts, Bellinger, Buehler, and Bob Seager Oh yeah. DeGrom great lefty. This isn’t a great cheeseball thread. I expect something better

He’s talking about the Mets collection John Franco. Boy you look stupid right now being a [censored] for no reason
Congratulations or I’m sorry that happened to you. Either way I’m not readin all that
Been playing since the first year of DD this year being my best year making World Series and 1000 rating all 4 seasons after being bad the last couple years. Basically done everything in this years game except go 12-0. Gone 12-1 twice and even got trout on one of them but the elusive 12-0 I finally capture. 97 salvy, mondesi, 88 devers, gold springer yelich and Carlos santana carried me all the way. JB in relief was clutch but max fried man. Dude was lights out for me. Pitched 2 shutout inning in my 12th game. I’m so happy man I’ve never done it before. This feels better than all the times making World Series
Matched up with him and was like [censored] I hope I can just play him tough and ended up pitching well and beating him. Top players absolutely never swing at bad pitches. Dudes eye at the plate was insane. Great game to him. I hope he uploads it!
I think it’s pretty clear this game stinks. I’m transitioning to working full time as I’m nearing my degree and I find it really hard to come home from a 9-5 and enjoy this game. It’s gotten worse and worse over the years, content is boring for younger guys like myself that want to use juiced up current players without having to wait for finest. There’s zero hit variety and it feels like everything gets caught in the outfield when that’s just not the case in real life. Every outfielder in this game is kiermaier. Got pretty close to World Series playing mostly unenjoyable games and after giving the game a fair shot I think I’m gonna finally hang it up and uninstall. After no lifeing the game last year being the best I’ve ever personally been like ranked around 250-300 I’ve achieved all I could ask for from myself. I just don’t see a point wasting my time in this game when it’s just not fun and that’s the consensus with most that I’ve seen on here and twitter alike. I wish everyone in the community good luck with everything they got going on it was a fun ride.
Happy first day of pride month to @SPORTPIMPIN_XBL Hope you have a good one man. I just know we won't see you in any comment sections with bigoted remarks right?
I truly think the pci system needs an overhaul. Wayyyy too many games decided by non pci hits/homeruns and that just shouldn't happen. The pci absolutely needs to represent the barrel and there shouldn't be a outer pci for vision either. Playing good players on HOF is still a foul ball fest and it just gets real frustrating with the undeserved hits

Bro I saw you match up with OhChev, he denied your friendly quit and you straight up quit the game before the 1st pitch you don't like a challenge? You had like a 1000 rating.
Checked my game history and I don’t think I’ve ever played him. I have quit out when I’m already in World Series and hit 40 wins and dont feel like playing a super sweaty game against someone who wakes up and plays the game until they go to sleep and nothing else. I don’t really see a problem in doing that. I don’t care enough to have a pretty record that won’t matter a year from now I’d much rather have fun…

It’s so annoying when people think cards perform better than their numbers. The main factor is user input, among a million other things. But given enough time and equal at bats the cards will perform as their numbers indicate. There’s always going to be variance, especially in small sample sizes. My last game I hit a walk off with Jackie Robinson. Does that mean he’s the best power hitter? No.
If you think ratings are the only thing that matters then you def haven’t used players like Soriano or Sam huff with horrible swings

I honestly was hoping for James Wood. Pulled a ton of his Bowman 1st cards recently.
sds is pretty out of touch with the baseball world and it shows. Kinda like EA not releasing an upgraded 95+ patrick mahomes card all of last year even though hes on the cover of their game. Like its clear they dont actually watch baseball or care about anything with the sport they just get their check from the licensing.
SDS is really gonna give us another Campy. When we have abrams, esteury ruiz, RH3, James Wood, Josh Mears, etc. Campy isnt even seen as good enough to catch the big league staff by our organization and hes probably a trade piece for someone like Contreras but yeah he's our "future star" lameeeeeee. They just announced Bart for the giants, they could have even given us a 95 gore wow
People get away with way too much. Nothing you can do about it. No matter how much you hate it, someone is always gonna cut you off in traffic and someone is always gonna get away with being less than a decent person. Nobody really gets held accountable for the numerous inconveniences that they cause the general public whether online or in real life on a day to day basis.
Whenever I play someone being toxic I normally just keep calm and dont give it back til I hit a nuke and replay it. I normally message them after with a subtle "gg bro"

I wish that matchmaking would sort by interfaces. Zone hitters/Pin Point players could only match with like opponents and settings couldn't be changed once the game started.
I would hope I get match up with someone using timing hitting and analog pitching. Zone and pinpoint are huge advantages because theres significantly less RNG in those interfaces.

I’ve never understood why there is such a difference in stress between ranked and events. People care about their record way too much in this game for some reason. If there was no rating and no expensive reward for ranked it wouldnt be as stressful. Also the time invested into a single 9 inning game puts alot on the line. You're essentially playing for your happiness in those late inning. With events there very little on the line and alot less time invested I definitely get the time commitment part. But why does rating or expensive reward matter if you’re not even going to play it because of those things? I don’t play ranked for rating or rewards. I just play it because I like the strategy of a full 9 and I can use any players I want. Its just another stress factor. If you value going for a high rating and earning those cards then it adds stress to those games. Events dont quite have that value But you aren’t getting that high rating in events either lol.. that’s what doesn’t make sense to me. You’re not getting any rewards or rating if you’re not even playing RS. So how can you say you value those things? Bro just read. "If" you value those things, it ends up being stressful playing ranked. "If" you value just having fun hitting nukes and winning low stress games you play events. It's not a tough concept I can read fine, bro. Clearly you value those things if you get so stressed playing ranked, but you aren’t earning those things by not playing it at all either. You clearly can't read or understand context clues. The vast majority of people play ranked for the rewards and for their record/rating. Thus why its stressful for THEM and THEY dont want to lose. I dont even play ranked because i work 40 hours a week while taking 5 classes I barely even have time to play 3 inning event games. So no I dont value those things. I did a year ago when I had alot more free time but we're talking about other players though. I never once mentioned myself. I clearly was talking about the player base that plays ranked which doesnt include me. Let's say even if someone doesnt care about their rating or the rewards you're still investing 30-40 minutes of your time into one game. You wouldnt want to waste all that time just to lose and not get the satisfaction of winning right? The comprehension level in this forum is astonishing. You sure made it sound like you were talking about yourself but I guess you were just speaking for others. You could’ve just said time was an issue for you instead of talking about stress and “playing for your happiness in those final innings.” I guess someone else told you that’s how they feel if that answer isn’t even how you feel.

No, I never once made it sound like I was talking about myself when it came to the rewards and rating, I said "if" you value those things. I literally said in another post that last year when I had more free time I grinded the game really hard. That's when it was stressful for me trying to win every game. Nobody told me anything about how they feel but I was there at one point. Anybody with an ounce of competitiveness in their soul would rather spend that 30-40 minutes and win than get smoked for 9 innings. If you're playing ranked and you're not trying to win then what's the purpose. Just play against the computer at that point. There's stress when you do anything competitive that's the whole point of "ranked" play
I said in another thread that Im gonna miss it. If the hitting engine is gonna be broken and there's no hit variety why not let us make crazy diving plays in the infield.
I liked the unrealistic diving plays. Why make that realistic if the player size proportions are off, theres no hit variety, and the hitting engine sucks. At least let us make crazy plays
@Twisted-_-Tea-_PSN i really hope you are not insinuating that the pimping guy is me.
You're really giving him a run for his money
