I once had Clemente foul off 14 pitches before homering against me, I just bean him now, every time.

That's awesome, congratulations! I think if he was added to the MLB roster, he would be added to the game on the next roster update, depending on timing it may be a future roster update. They usually show up under newly added players.

This year it defaults to the higher rating difficulty.

Saw a 'rate my team' tweet and his 9 where 98% FS cards. Ridiculous imo, so basically I would sell mine, but don't want to have to get them back for another collection.
Most of them will be close to quicksell value when more people complete the program.

I get that, but what is the best ping number? I get a ping of around 18 and have no clue if it's good, bad, or what.
Sub 50ms is good for most games, FPS is below 20ms.
Ping is just one indicator of a good connection. You also want your Jitter below 20ms.
I believe they were forced to by MLB in order to maintain their license, so they probably scrambled to get the game working on the other platforms instead of improving PS version.

Grand total of 10K in XPBad comparison. Almost everything you did the first night gives normal gameplay XP and also bonus XP for completing. Of course it will give more.
Play 17 event games and compare it to the equivalent number of innings in Play vs CPU. That would be a more valid comparison. It may still grant more XP offline but at least it would be a more valid comparison.
I would pretty much guarantee that most people would rack up way more XP in 51 innings of Veteran against the Orioles or Rockies in Play vs CPU than in 51 innings of Events against the sweats.
Because Kirk Gibson is better than Tom Henke.

Fixed a bug that would cause the away team to always wear home uniforms.
But nothing about the Unhandled Server Error when some people play the championship game?
By all means; fix a uniform error but don't touch something that makes the mode unplayable for some.
General Gameplay
Users are now limited to pressing R2 to view pitch types once per pitch, for up to three seconds.
Would've preferred once per AB.
I thought they fixed that a few days back during a server update?
They did but the likely hood is OP is sitting in an old mini season run which is locked in and likely the update won't fix the issue until a new season has been started
Wait; the fixed the Server Error for Mini Seasons?
No, I'm not sitting in an old one. I haven't started one yet. Was waiting to see if there would be a fix. Didn't want to take the chance of playing the whole way only to get screwed out of the last mission.
Mini season server exception was fixed in the server maintenence earlier this week
That "fix" was only for the error in the playoffs, I now get that error every time I start a new mini-season.
Telling Cobb to "stick it" brought this on.
