I have watched a lot of the players league games and i have not watched one game that didn't have extremely bad fielding.
There are constant messages in the chat from fans watching saying how bad the fielding is and you can see on the players faces that they are trying really hard not to say anything bad about the game!
SDS better get a patch out soon as there are a lot of people watching those matches and it is not good for business!!!
The one thing I have no doubts on is that they are working on a patch.
But we saw what happened last time they "rushed" a patch, it did virtually nothing.
So while I would love for a patch to come out as soon as possible, I also want it to actually work.

Hopefully they do. Looking forward to it. Hopefully they address pitching and hitting timing at some point as well.
IF they didnt do that launch patch and just adjusted pitch accuracy and the size of the PCI they wouldnt be in a bad place but the combination of them messing something that a lot of people liked and then completely messing up with the fielding patch has made any good will that the community had for SDS at launch completely disappear. It has been self inflicted wounds that has lead to this disaster
They just need to back out the entire 1.08 patch immediately! It’s clear that the “fix” for getting to balls late is what caused it. A software shop should always have the ability to revert to previous version. Watching players lose in the MLB League because of this is frankly embarrassing!
Lmao Trevor May went off a few nights ago saying how he’s going to forfeit because fielding blew him a 8-2 lead, he called the game “f-ing s——“ and constantly states that this game is suspect

Why work on a patch?? They should just implant the old 19 programming for fielding. Fast and effective.
Also how SDS thought that having a player league with a game that had obvious flaws was a good idea is beyond me

All they really needed to do after launch was trim the PCI size a bit. THAT alone would have addressed any concerns they might have had about hitting being too easy. Then they could have worked on pitching and fielding tweaks.
OR they could have kept their grubby mitts off the controls for a month to REALLY see how the game played.

Bad press is better than no press. It was really a great idea from SDS with the pandemic. That being said fielding and pitching really need addressed. Hitting not near as major as those two imo.

Even with all the gameplay issues, if you don't think this is anything short of fantastic for SDS then you need to get your head out of the sand!
