Why’d you have to ruin my day? Lol. I could buy Trout on the market and somehow he wouldn’t show up in my inventory, that’s how bad my luck has been this year.
Congrats

Thinking SDS should sell the rights to MLB over to a better development team, preferably a sports-centric one. I don’t see how you could create an award winning game and over the course of a few years break it entirely.
They should sell while the value is there because the developers clearly have no idea what they are doing.
The MOST frustrating part of these multi-hit moments is that the pitchers don't throw strikes. How am I supposed to make solid contact when 75% of the pitches are outside the zone. Cant walk for 7 TB, SDS!!!
I legit lost a game to an inside the parker in the Boltom of the 9th because of that. Ball hit Betts straight in the jibbs and must have concussed him because he wouldn’t pick up the ball and the batter (40 speed) pranced around the bases.
I agree. It’s like people think SDS is going to reward them for sticking up for them. The reality is they took our money without properly testing the game.
I bought this game to enjoy all the components. if I bought a car with two missing wheels, it’s useless. The current state of fielding and pitching make this “car” not drivable..
Players rights restrictions are heavily enforced and monitored with all the digital content we have today. It was such a small market back then.
I remember when Barry Bonds alias was John Dowd.
You’re right. They have a lot to fix, including pitching. To me hitting is passable but pitching and defense are ruining the game.
Use directional hitting. Its asinine that we need to change our setting to get different output.
They apparently tweeted about the fielding issues and are “looking” to address them in a patch shortly. I don’t see why they wouldn’t just implant the old programming for last years fielding and call it a day.
New animations and effects are cool but I’d rather fielding gameplay from any other year over what we have now.
Lol! The best part is even if it’s not blocked it bounces 100mph off the backstop and come right back.
The exit velo on balls off the walls is better than perfect/perfect off the bat.
I was messing around today and threw together a list of potential Legends/Throwback cards. Tried to exclude players already in the game. I’m sure I missed a few deserving players and Some SDS wouldn’t even have a chance of signing (Barry Bombs). Also included Some outlier seasons and dual eligible guys that I think would make for fun cards later on. Post some of the ones you guys would want to see below. Sorry if I left out your home team a bit.

I agree that the vision is huge in higher levels but depending on your stub count, you can use shades, batting gloves and other equipment to increase vision considerably. It’s all preference. I don’t think there’s a right answer lol.
It’s happened to me as well. I understand your frustration. But check swinging is a huge part of an AB.
Also curious because I have no idea. But sometimes it seems like there’s button sensitivity. Are check swings based strictly on the hitter discipline or does it have anything to do with button pressure?
@ImDFC said in What team has the most overperforming (Glitchy?) cards?:
Curious, I think it's the rangers just because it seems like the ball teleports off the bat when guys like Willie Calhoun, Ronald Guzman and Joey Gallo stand in the box
Funny because as soon as I read the title I thought to myself, Rangers!
For some reason I kill the ball with almost the entire team with the exception of Andrus. I find Odor to be glitchy too. Solid Squad.

Where the BEEP BEEP BEEP are Lux and May. Both of them are 100000000x better than 99% of the prospect cards currently out.
I think they are deeming Lux a current player despite him still having prospect status. I agree with you. It’d be a good piece of content.
I think Power is the way to go. Contact it easily boosted with equipment.
My CAP C is my best hitter. I did also recently grind the CF too. So far he’s been ridiculous. I think I’ve got 10 HRs in like 50-75 Abs. Speed and perfect fielding. (As perfect as you can be considering the fielding issues)
I’ll second that swing is the most important. If there’s a live series card you smash with, get you CAP that swing. For me it’s Aaron Hicks.
@juststrong88 said in Fielding is awful:
What about baserunners going rogue? Is this happening to everyone else too? My runners sometimes just do what they wanna do. Steal without be told. Over run the bag and take so long getting back they get thrown out. Stuff like this has killed me in games. I don't mind if I make a bad call and my runner gets thrown out. But when David Ortiz decides he wants to steal 2nd base against Yadier Molina. I have a problem with that.
I haven’t personally experienced any base running issues. It’s definitely not out of the question though.
Great article. Have a look if you want a great breakdown on this years fielding issues. The show is an amazing brand and creates sweet content. This has gotta change fast, though.

I’m not crying for attention. I am a bit upset as someone who spends tons of actual dollars in support of SDS
You spent over $1.8 million on the game?
Nope, lol. You guys win. I’m clearly failing to get my point across. Just want a game that works.
Good luck all!

@pbake12 i think the title of this post was a cry for attention. Hey look at me!!!
@Boudrow96 got Collin’s attention and then he flagrant fouled. Your one comment was so unnecessary. No wonder we don’t hear anything about productivity if you just throw insults
I’m not crying for attention. I am a bit upset as someone who spends tons of actual dollars in support of SDS, like many others. I knew about this forum last season and never complained. I’m just trying to get an answer as to why a company who’s made baseball games perfectly for years can’t get the basic fundamentals right. To me it’s unacceptable.
I’m by no means insulting Collin directly. I know very little is in his control, but they can’t keep sweeping these issues under the rug. They have plenty of new components of the game that are spotty and need work and I never bring those up. That’s cool, I know new parts take time to iron out. Fielding is just too pivotal in the games outcome to be something that’s not working at this juncture. It’s unfair to paying customers.
