Classic stadiums

So MLB The Show got Jackie Robinson, then a question popped in my head, Why is there no Eberts field, also other cool old stadiums like the Astro Dome....ect. More classic Stadiums would be cool to add in the future or the next game.

A couple of years ago, they mentioned it takes approximately 6 months or so to completely render a new stadium.
Now, would you like them to spend that precious limited development time on new stadiums or gameplay and new features?
I know my choice.

I agree with the spend the time elsewhere, but at the same time with the focus on him they could've added the stadium he played in, same with the Babe, they should have added original Yankee stadium, it's literally" the house he built"

I agree, but hopefully when they expand to XBOX and Wii next year, they can get more employees that focus on stadium.s

I'm pretty sure Yankee Stadium is one of the classic stadiums.

Honestly, if it takes 6 months to design, model, texture, and render a stadium, that says more about them and the engine they build on than it does about the stadiums themselves
I feel like an architect can whip up a virtual rendering fairy quickly of a building for a 3D your and that the concept would be the same.

It's not. the one we have is the 1976 remodel. the original built in the 20s has never been in the game.

Also, what are the modelers and designers of stadiums normally doing? Modeling and designing bat skins?

I've always thought that Ebbets would be awesome to have!

i think i read somewhere its also licensing....
id love to see 1/3 stadiums from 1900-1920, 1930-1950 ETC

This is also true.
There's only a handful I would really like, the ones that are really unique (Mile High, The Stick, LAC). The cookie-cutters both indoor (Astro, King) and out (Riverfront, 3 River, Vet, Murph) I can do without.
What I'd really like to see (and I know it'll never happen) is Fantasy Parks: Atlantis & Tranquility Base.

Ebbets Field and Tiger Stadium used to be in the game a few years ago. With all due respect to Shibe Park and Griffith Stadium, those two should've been dropped instead of Ebbets Field or Tiger Stadium. They aren't nearly as iconic or remembered as where the Dodgers and Tigers played. This is one of my major gripes with this game. These two stadiums need to come back.
