Homerun Derby Online

Most of you won’t care but this [censored] bothers me a little lol. I play a good amount of derby’s especially when I’m struggling in DD. My question is, is there’s some way to get more distance on HRs? Like I said a play a good amount of em. I’ve had 30 in a round but my furthest is 518. I’ve seen someone hit 551 and a guy hit over 530 3 times in 1 derby so it makes me think there’s gotta be something I’m not seeing whether it’s hitting interface or something idk. Noticed I hit furthest with trout and I know righty at Coors but any other recommendations would be appreciated

Is homerun derby on one difficulty or can you change it? My only assumption would be to power swing.

Who did they hit the 530 and 551 with? Trout does not have the most power in the game.

Guy hit 551 with Stanton, the other guy who hit over 530 in all 3 rounds used Trout and I know Trout doesn’t have the most power but I noticed he hits the most over 500ft for me.

I have a long of 535 with frank. I kept wondering if it made a difference if you hit O, box or x but it doesnt seem to. I always look and when your in the lobby I have yet to find anyone who has a further one.

I appreciate it, yeah I’ve tried everything and it seems to just be luck of the draw but I also noticed the same guys have routinely long distance so me and my buddy are like what the f*** lol

acuna has some serious power in the derby. I've hit a couple that went 525 with him.

Adam Dunn needs to be added to a roster. Can't use him in HRD. Hope they see this and add him actually.

I just wish every single HR derby wasn't Coors or Arizona. I get you want distance but that gets old in the same stadiums over and over and over and over

The only dude I topped 500’ with last year was Foxx, and I did it twice in one round. I use his swing on my CAP and RttS character. He generates some nasty power.

Nelson Cruz with his 107 power hit one like 545 for me

I’ve done this with lots of people. Even unexpected hitters like Eloy Jiminez, Jose Altuve, and so on. I’ve got close to 500 derbies, and I’ve hit 545 plenty of times. Don’t know how I did it. I took time off from the game and recently got back into it, and for the life of me, I can’t get beyond the 507ft wall again.
I do know the following needs to be done:
Right hand batter @coors over the signage left of the scoreboard or hit the scoreboard. Hitting the middle of the board or higher is your 520-545 range.If you use a lefty, it’s a little more difficult. Same thing, but hit the ball in center or just off center to the right. The catwalk next to the forest wall in center is 515+ and the top of the wall in deep center is 530ish. You can pull for 500, but the highest I’ve hit one that been pulled to RF is 510.
I don’t know how I did all of this. I don’t know if it’s settings like pure analog, or if it’s zone settings or what. Directional caps out at that 507ft wall.

You have to hit the power swing button harder. The harder you push it the higher the distance. I'm talking mash that sucker!
