Let's see who gets lucky (and who we'll all curse under our breath when someone says "I pulled Ohtani/Judge"...)
I think every year since I started playing, my first pull was an 85. I did pull Ohtani last year within the first week so... there is hope.

Someone IS going to repeat pull a Uniform from the TA pack and whine about it on here. May not be night one, but it'll definitely happen before "Real" launch on Tuesday.

I'm of the opinion that if something is not absolutely needed for a collection then SDS should not spend precious support time fixing these type of problems. Let people learn their lesson and slow down a little.
I know there are, I think, several things implemented to try and stop this from happening (at least in the game) but people just get click happy.
I have never pulled a top live series card ever that I can remember. While it would be lovely to do so this year so I at least have a chance to acquire Pujols I am not holding my breath.

I do miss those days of the choice packs in TA. There was always that one (or 20) post(s) from people complaining about choosing the same card twice.

The easy fix is making them sellable or giving us an exchange for them.

I would say having a choice pack for non player items that will all be earned quickly anyway is a bit silly. Just put the uniforms int he path directly

I think my best initial diamond pull in the last six years has been Seager from 23. He was coming off another WS MVP season so his overall was 90+ and one of the most expensive cards in the game at launch (90-100k). Immediately sold him to buy Judge so I could complete the Yanks collection to finally be able play as my favorite player ever, Bernie Williams. 🥰

I'm predicting my first pull will be something random I'll be disappointed by like a H. Brown 85 from my 2nd least favorite team sounds about right for that.
