it's the "gers" or the "ngers" that triggers it. I both understand why and hate that it's so sensitive

It's because at one time a few simple, and I mean simple morons...the same type that make the very inappropriate logos, made team names involving hard R's and double G's. Now the automated system flags things like that.

@TheBigPapa55_PSN -- I ran this by the team before the holiday and we were curious as to where you were entering the name. I'm assuming the My Squad screen? It's possible that a portion of the word is banned for some reason, which seems strange, I know.
