@sbchamps17_NSW weird choice since he's a Yankee in the 20th Anniversary card (I think).

Are these pitchers going to be like the last moonshot with lower attributes or are these all new 99s?

I'm guessing Commons (64). Interesting to see if Roger will be an Astro or a Blue Jay.

How could he be a blue jay and be a common? He pitched in Toronto 2 years and won cy young awards both seasons. Not to mention winning pitcher triple crowns both years. His Blue Jays card should be a 99 milestone or award card. Maybe next year.

Moonshot cards have very little to do with actual real life stats.

Look at the first moonshot. Nolan Ryan got a common. Tom Seaver got a common. Corey Kluber got a common for a team he only pitched 1/3rd of an inning for.

I know there isn't a specific rule book, but how can you give someone a bad card for a team that he was only on for two years and both years he was voted the best pitcher in his league? Moonshot Clemens should be based on his final season in 2007. Nothing else would make too much sense.

The Ryan card is based on his age 24 season which is the only year in his entire career that he had negative WAR other than his retirement campaign when he was like 46.

Kluber is an odd choice considering how he barely pitched for Texas.

    The final 4 clues.

I got 3 of 4 correct last night and now feel dumb that I chose Martinez over Bautista. I should have known that it was going to be a reliever since Kershaw was a starter.

Also confirms that Holliday will be a Rockie again this year. That's fine. They need cards. I am bummed that this is year 2 of The Cardinals not getting a diamond Holliday card. Last year all we got was a Gold version on release day.

It's amazing seeing how many people on twitter/x are getting upset about "Another Kershaw Card", "Another Clemens card", "Another Ubaldo Jimienez card".

Have they not played the game before? Did they not notice the pitcher overalls of the last Moonshot program?

I guess I should not be surprised since people still get upset that Topps now cards are from the previous week or that somebody did not get supercharged on a Sat or Sun.

@Jeff7407_PSN I'm pretty sure George W Bush threw more pitches in Texas than Kluber did
