AL and NL both award a Reliever of The Year award. It just never gets much attention.

Judge and Ohtani are pretty much a lock. However, I don't think a DH Only should be considered for MVP.
Skenes is now the favorite, after his performance today, over Merrill in the NL.
AL ROY, I could care less.

Used to get a decent amount of attention when it was sponsored by Rolaids. Not so much anymore.

As a Padres fan, I want it to be Merrill. Any other year it would be, but I can’t pretend like Skenes doesn’t deserve it more. I really hope they do something for Merrill with the rookie season he’s had.

@theBlindRhino_PSN I don’t mean Major League Baseball needs to do something. I mean SDS needs to give him a 99 at some point this year. He should have already gotten one for doing something no other player in baseball history has done, but I’m not going to beat that dead horse again.

If you say he's on the better team, that might be correct.
And it's all opinion anyway.
Merrill has had a great season. In my opinion, it is not better than Skene's historic numbers -
Merrill has been in the majors this entire year while Skeenes hasn't, alot of media members have Merrill winning ROTY

Yeah, you can argue Merrill isnt the best player on his team, While Skenes is one of the best pitchers in all baseball. Actually easily the best. But it will come down to did he play enough.
