Perfect Perfect Flyball

With power over 80... Didn’t they say that was a no doubter?
-
In the stream before release. I’m pretty sure at least. 80 was the bench mark, but I’ve hit a few perfect fly balls with guys in the 90-100 range that didn’t leave the yard.
-
They said more than likely but didn’t say it was guaranteed

I hit a perfect perfect flyball of glavine in the 7th when he was gassed, with Gary Sheffield the award version, over 100 power and it didn’t even make the warning track. I was pissed too cause it would have won me the game had it left the yard

No. 80 is the minimum what you wanna look for to hit homers. That also doesn't mean you can't hit homeruns with lower power. It also depends on the park (distance + altitude) and pitcher for example. Preferably you want 100+ to have the best success hitting homeruns is what they said.

That was Showdown. The laws of physics (or common sense) do not apply in Showdown.
LOL, Showdown is where Yordan Alvarez is the second coming of Jim Edmonds and Perfect Perfect Flyballs with 93 PWR are warning track outs.

SDS did say that 80+ power would be a guaranteed home run barring any crazy stadiums or wind. Here's a clip: https://clips.twitch.tv/ResourcefulHonorableSandstormPermaSmug

That was also pre patch 1.04.
What was true then is not true now. -

What was true then is not true now.Well obviously, but the point is that they said this for months and then changed it a week after the game was released

I have not played as long as some guys on this board, I have played consistently since The Show 17. But if memory serves me right, the game-altering post release patch has been a yearly issue.
I remember asking on this board how the new patch changed the game and then rushing home just to see what changed. Sometimes it wasn't noticeable and other times you had a totally different game.
I do not understand how they can make such drastic changes within 10 days of release.

They also said in that stream you won't get perfect perfect on a contact swing, yet I have done it.
But like others have said the 80 power rule was the case 9n release, post patch it has definitely not been true.

It’s okay, I had two good/good to the warning track back to back. Than my opponent socks one on early/good
