Lack of Developers in the Forum

"Ya'll wild" yada, yada, yada "Believe this forum to be civil" yada, yada, yada. Yeah, I'm pretty sure you somehow neglected to read the comments of those who mentioned how their tickets were never responded to because they achieved those stubs and how this kind of disconnect has been going on for years. But the people here are just toxic for no reason. Here's the thing though, it's one thing for people to complain because those catching the flak didn't comply to each and every issue and then there's toxicity where not only are flack catchers not addressing those issues but they're not doing the simple things to show the people they want to better the game in a timely fashion - and maybe they are with upcoming patches but you also do it by keeping the people updated addressing their stub or server concerns in an efficient manner or communicating better with people on the boards. If this way was done and you address the people you wouldn't have to worry about "toxicity". Treat people like they just paid a $100 for your game. Bro, this is simulation sports. How hard is it for one to mimic a sport you have exclusive rights to? They did put Onyx 'Let the boys be boys' in playlist as a jab at traditionalists. Well then where's the extra accessories as the players on the field and updated presentation. This is nothing against the Show but no one should have tell guys who have exclusive rights to mirror a game they probably watch daily.
There are other games I'm seeing for lesser consoles that are mind numbingly nuts graphics wise. But you're telling me that updating a sports game (not creating a new world like fantasy games) with better night game lighting, better accessories, better game presentation after years of asking is complaining or toxic when people are paying a $100 for next gen after purchasing a console for close to half a grand? "Haha".

I just don't understand how on their own community forums, we are all left to complain within ourselves. I understand chances are they look at the forum and certain threads, but i remember last year and especially in 18, you would see threads with developers commenting all the time, even if it was mostly Victor or Colin. Is the toxicity that drove them away? Toxicity of complaints would not be such a problem if they actually were transparent enough to tell us things outside of twitter.
Thoughts?I don't blame them one bit. Every time one of them replies they get hammered with 5000 questions and insults.
You're a funny guy. I'd wager SDS hasn't actually replied to 1% of the questions.
I'd even go as far as less then 24 replies total.

It’s my understanding that support tickets don’t warrant a response on the forum, but yea, they should definitely be fixed/taken care of. That’s a legitimate complaint. But then it gets drowned out by soundtracks and accessories for no reason, as well as the daily threads titled “game sux”. I get that people are pissed, and the servers/bugs/tickets likely stemming from it should be fixed. Still stand by what I said though.

Maybe considering helping people out with legitimate issues then? I realized 80% of this forum is trash and trolls but there are some people on here just looking for help or answers. The least you could do it reach out. Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't that part of your duties? I'm asking bc I honestly don't know. You would think someone would be in charge of handling the community in some fashion. At least the ones with legitimate issues or questions. Noone is asking you to answer trolls all day but there are alot of people that come on here that are just looking for help from someone who has answers...(You... Or any dev) I've played games my whole life and the devs for this game are easily the most confrontational I've experienced and could care less about the community. Half of the responses are condescending or things like"I read almost everything" or "no need for speculation" How about a decent response from time to time or even a private message to help. We just want better. Thats not much to ask for.

Going back to this message hahaha... i posted something a little while ago about having two of the same 42 series affinity players and being unable to get Jackie because I cannot get KeBrayan Hayes now because of the two Heywards... is there any way to fix this?

I don't doubt that that is the truth for you. I'm only mentioning it because online play has a slew of glaring issues that offline play doesn't.
Something has changed under the hood for offline franchise play as well, and it made the game unplayable for a lot of people who have enjoyed this game for years.
As it stands I’d rather have someone read the phone book to me than play this game.

HAHAHA this is so funny to read when its obviously not true. We have had posts with all kinds of slurs stay up for days at a time. Collin maybe you read everything, but it doesn't matter if its a week or two later.

Y’all need to fix Ohtani. He needs to be listed as a 2way player not just SP. He should be Diamond regardless. 85 as a SP and 95 as OF/DH Live card should be 89 or 90 overall! I just wanna know their secret. In fact most might wanna know just in case we are ever horrible or incompetent at our job year after year. How do they manage to still have one? Its crazy and we all need to know how they do it. Cheers to you guys who take our money each year with no accountability or a chance for a refund for a game that was literally unplayable for weeks. Server Errors, a broken double XP weekend and shotty gameplay all supposed to be forgotten with that bribe bundle. What this company needs is competition. We as gamers need choices. Im tired of developers having the exclusive rights to sports games. I want to be able to choose which I go with. SDS, EA, etc can dial it in and be half assed every year cos they know we will buy it and we have no choice if we want Football or Baseball games.

The devs that "interact" with the community are a joke and that's being generous. It is what it is. No real change will occur even if the community pushes for it. They should want to interact with the good portion of the the community. I understand not everyone deserves their time with certain troll posts, but at least a 1/3 of the legit questions and posts could VERY quickly be answered by a dev. Each year has gotten worse too.
