Lack of Developers in the Forum

With all the complaints going around the forums, whether it be hitting, pitching, fielding, etc., you never see a single community manager, moderator, or developer commenting on any thread. Even if it's a simple question that a developer could answer, you never see one.

I just don't understand how on their own community forums, we are all left to complain within ourselves. I understand chances are they look at the forum and certain threads, but i remember last year and especially in 18, you would see threads with developers commenting all the time, even if it was mostly Victor or Colin. Is the toxicity that drove them away? Toxicity of complaints would not be such a problem if they actually were transparent enough to tell us things outside of twitter.

Dud,e that's cause the developers are looking and laughing at all the people complaining about the fielding being bad, which its totally fine....I've never seen an outfielder not play a ball properly. Or pitch speeds being too fast, which it should be a bit faster.

I don't doubt that that is the truth for you. I'm only mentioning it because online play has a slew of glaring issues that offline play doesn't.

I mean, there was literally an SDS person on here today clearing up the confusion on 1.07 by saying there was no gameplay changes.

If I were a developer I'd keep my distance from this community.

they're like they spent $50-100 on a the game full of bugs and errors; "Got em", we got paid .... ive been playing the show since 08 and only had i think 2 replies....

This. When they talk, they get labeled liars, dishonest, devious, shady, conniving. They can’t win. That’s why you usually hear them admit to stuff about the previous game during pre-release streams, because admitting that this or that can’t be fixed without a huge code re-writing that is only possible during the dev cycle will only incite riots. People will scream and yell, swear this game off, buy it again next March and cry some more. Who’s to blame then?

They have some devs who lurk to gather what we un holy lot are saying about bugs, online pitch speeds, ect,ect,ect.....there is some interaction but not much.

If they’re not going to have people interact with the community, at least send out surveys throughout the year. It might show what the community thinks about the different aspects of the game.

Why do you want to see developers around if they dont even listen?
They only care about low scoring games giving chances to bad players to be competitive.
Can a Class A baseball team compete vs a Mayor League team?

I haven’t actually played 20 yet, still ballin 19, so I can’t personally confirm anything, BUT bro, I’ve seen some videos of the worst dam fielding I’ve seen in a show game in years ... Total gameplay issues with the fielding 100 percent ...
