In previous years, if you pre-ordered any edition you got early access. That's bogus SDS.

He wasnt wrong. We already had an investigation into this though. Hard not to get all the releases mixed up. But seems before 2020 you DID get early access by just preordering. And in 2020 you had to pay for at least the MVP edition to get early access. And in 21 and 22 you had to buy the Deluxe versions.

I have never pre-ordered the deluxe edition and I've always had early access. It would make sense. If I'm pre-ordering, I'm paying for the game before I'm able to play it, before official launch.
No...if you pay for the game, you're paying to play it at launch. If you pay EXTRA for the game, you're paying to play it 4 days early.

Dude, you don't know what you're talking about. I've always played Thursday night 9pm pst which is 12am east coast time.
some years the game released on Friday, other years it released on Tuesday.

You "pay early" for everything you buy online. They arent gonna expedite it to you just because you bought it a few days before someone else.

SDS no different than their neighbors at Petco Park. If you buy a single-game ticket, you get in 90 minutes before First Pitch. But if you buy a season ticket, you get in 2 hours early. WHEN you buy the ticket is irrelevant.
