Surprise is mookie since he probably could have received a finest or flashback 99 card later in the cycle. Probably means this will be his highest card.

Realistically he's probably the 3rd or 4th option for finest on the dodgers and without releasing the same awards card as last year there wasn't really another option(2018 and beyond won't get a retro finest). So it's a pretty good spot for him here

I have his AS in RF and was planning on putting in Clemente next. Clemente may have to wait.

Shoulda been Bregman, but given there’s already been a Yordan Lightning, Biggio Retro Lightning, and Altuve/Presley henchmen, might not be the fairest of plays to give the Astros ANOTHER monster POTM card.

He will be my 2B if he has it. I wonder what his contact vs both sides will be if he batted .330 for the month. Riley batted .420 something and wasn’t in the 120s. Hopefully they don’t pay attention to that and make him insane,

I hope they don't make me wait forever to get a 99 Arenado. I would have accepted Bregman, I would have accepted either Pitcher of The Month but passing up Arenado for Mookie does not sit well with me. Especially since this was the second time Arenado has won POTM and been passed over.
Oh, well, there is a bright side to this for me, and that is that barring any other Cardinals being included in the program I can just skip the POTM grind this month.

is that something they've stated or your conclusion? not arguing, I have no clue and wanted to know more. 2018 the start of finest cards?
