There’s a few guys I’ve been looking forward to getting needed upgrades.

Todd Helton, Steve Finley, Roy Oswalt, Bret Saberhagen.

I could see Finley and Oswalt being potential program bosses.

Not as exciting as your hopeful bosses but they seem to put less appealing players in programs and give the anticipated guys cards through chase packs/choice packs bought in the store.

Also Honus was already a boss a month ago.

Saberhagen will be the next Royals boss in a 30 team program. They only got 2 legends to choose from lol. Helton was my favorite 1B last year and a Retro finest Steve finley would be my favorite card ever

Yeah probably won’t be Honus his 99 coming Later totally forgot he was a resent boss. I just hope for one eye popping boss card like a Mantle at least. They usually save some of there more appealing bosses for later programs and I mean we are in mid Aug already and content needs a Spark IMO.

I would love a 99 Finley or Oswalt. Roy was dominant for a 6 or 7 year stretch. He deserves an end game type card - He’s not a HOFer but in his first 10 years in the league he was something like 148-86 and put up almost 50 WAR

They could troll us like the Griffey promo with 99 Mantle (but with stats slightly better than his 88), Trout (but with slightly better stats than his live series), 99 Degrom (but with slightly better stats than his live series).

But I mean how much more pain can the community take at this point.

99 Mantle or Mays would be nice.
But I figure we won't see that till another month or so.
Sadly any of the 99's they seem to releasing right now are pretty much not end game squad cards imo.
Look how dirty they did Griffey on his contact, they should not do 2 99's of legend cards and people are still giving them a lot of complaints about Griffey like crazy.

If they release another card with stats like they did Griffey people are going to boycott. I saw a couple streamers yesterday just turn off the game when they saw his stats. They should’ve just said legend program and people wouldn’t be so mad. It’s like when you’re a kid on Christmas and you think you’re getting that one thing you really want and the day comes and you end up not getting anything at all.

Possibly a 99 Bob Gibson? I don't think anyone considers him endgame even at 99 overall and he currently only has a 90 overall as his highest card.

I'd also really like a Lou Brock card. His highest is a 74 overall rookie card. Again he is not an end game card in most cases so holding him back does not make a lot of sense.

You know better cards for these two are coming. So it is a matter of when and where and now that they are rolling out 99's getting these out sooner makes sense. In a few months they won't move the needle for anyone except diehard Cardinal fans.

Now that I think about it a better there are a lot of legends on the Cardinals that are most likely getting better cards.

Gibson, Musial and Pujols are probably getting 99 cards.
Edmonds could get a better card than his current 94
Lou Brock could get a mid to upper 90's
Ozzie possibly gets a card better than a 93

Where's my 90-ish Sandoval? I loved that card last year.

Give me the Lou Brock card. The rest are cool but how much better could you make Ozzie card? They gave him 70 plus power vs one side which was already shocking. I understand Cardinals fan really want though so give the people what they want.

If they release a program with just one great card like 99 Mantle, nobody would pick the other cards unless they are fans. Of course that is just for a three card boss program.

This next Feature Program has to be fire u would think right ?. Give people a reason to get excited and keep playing.Three Bosses who you guys think it will be ?.. I’m hoping for 1) Mantle 2) Honus 3) Pedro Martinez with Outlier quirk.

I would rather see Pedro with higher per-9s than an outlier quirk. Of course I don’t think we we will see them yet. I could be wrong.

Ozzie's card last year (a 97) had much higher vision, discipline and clutch and better speed and baserunning ratings.

I think the bigger question is what/ who will Extreme consist of. If it is Mantle/ Gehrig/ Babe/ Chipper/ Trout or along those lines, they could really make the next set of bosses lack luster. Now if they are going to focus extreme on one future, one present and one past then maybe we still get some big names. I know the next promo comes out before extreme but everything is already in on SDSs master plan. The next promo could also be fire because of the direct completion with Madden. Of course in the same respect SDS might just punt this promo know they can't compete with MUT.

I am still waiting on a lights out Gibby. Nobody deserves a card that belongs at the top of rotations more than him.

I agree. I am not a huge fan of Pedro as a person, but, as a fan a great pitching, he was one of the best of his time.
