Wonder why people complain?

It is a game, right? Games should be fun. Imo, the game needs drastic changes to appeal to the majority of the ones who spent money on it. Maybe SDS could start by listening to the ones playing the game. And their complaints.
Unfortunately they don’t care bro. Not unless someone else drops a decent baseball game, we will always get this copy and paste mess every year. We can either stop buying it or deal with it unfortunately

Only thing that can save this game is competition with EA or 2K making a game. But as someone posted above me said, they don’t care and it’s true they’ll release a [censored] sandwich and majority of the community will eat every bite of that sandwich.

So what is the answer? If there is no competition we will be cut and pasted to death. I have played this game every year since 2006 and honestly when Game update 4 came out on 4/26/22 the offline hitting was the best it has ever been in this Franchise. 5 days later on 5/1/22 Game update 5 came out and the game has been broken ever since. There is no happy medium with these people. What would you do?

Not necessarily EA, but competition in general. Was just throwing the only companies that would give them a run for their money.

Remember when 2K had baseball and the last year of their license they released the same exact game with updated rosters?
People were so mad…..all the praise went to SDS, the baseball purist company made of great innovators.

EA did that with NCAAMVP with exception of rosters just re did rankings so teams had previous year’s team roster

The answer is by reaching out to Elon Musk. I hear he’s trying to improve/fix everything now.

I would want a better product but at the end of the day they run a business. If giving undisciplined and not so good hitters gives them more money, that is what they will do. RS and BR should be a primarily skill based mode. They could do that for events.

I was really enjoying the game and then in the past few days the hitting has gone to junk and I've seen shenanigans in fielding that happen every 50 games now happening every game.
I just turned the game off in frustration. No sense in getting mad doing something your supposed to enjoy. I have better things to do.

This exactly the reason EA's NHL franchise is going under...co competition, therefore no reason to be a game changer every year. Same thing with SDS. Although rumour is EA is getting back into baseball in the next year or two, and are negotiating with MLB presently. This was rumoured to begin shortly after EA bought the rights to Super Mega Baseball

That's what happens when you are the only game in town and have no competition. The customer suffers.

I’m just curious about what kind of people you all are that complain about this game. Did your parents not pay enough attention to you? Do you complain about everything in your life? Do you enjoy anything? Are you entitled Millennials? The Show is probably the best sports game ever created and clearly the best baseball game ever. Little flaws here and there for sure, but it’s an amazing game. I just assume the complainers just don’t get laid enough and/or just aren’t good at the game.
