Can SDS address the foul balls?

IMO people saw PCI was shrinking out of the zone this year and made the decision to contact swing, then they realized contact swinging is OP again and that’s where we are right now.

I don’t get how they can fix contact swing then have the same issue in the next game. I don’t get it!

I heard them say specifically that they addressed the foul balls for online play this year. If anything, it’s gotten worse! It’s impossible to pitch online at the moment. Why is it possible to foul a pitch off that’s completely in the dirt or almost hitting the batter? This needs to be fixed.
I looked at my pitch analysis recently and the dude had foul off 27 pitches in the second inning.
People just sit hard inside every pitch and foul everything off the plate very early timing.
At this point I don’t even think it’s an outer pci issue. They need to allow for balls outside of the zone with bad timing to be put in play fair.

They shrank the wrong zone. It should be the outer ring that shrinks because they can miss with the pci and it still be within the outer ring and cause foul balls.

I personally don’t think it is a contact swing issue. I do think that contact swing magnifies it, but I rarely use contact swing and I foul off a lot of pitches I shouldn’t with a normal swing.

i don’t think luis arraez is at the same level as vladimir guerrero, but i get your point

it does shrink, but it doesn't shrink enough....it needs to be minuscule...but be glad their isn't a "low ball hitter" perk

I don't think it even shrinks less than the boost you get from “two strikes” which nearly everyone has now. Then add in a fastball and guys like Trout have a bigger PCI outside the zone than on a first pitch down the middle lol.
