It's 6 years at 160 million. That is a crazy lineup, i would not like to be the pitcher facing that.

Yikes. Part of me wants the Dodgers to just win a few so they get fat and happy. This is crazy how they constantly land the best players in both free agent pick up and trades.

Well it helps to have seemingly unlimited money to throw at players.

Unlimited money, unlimited prospects. Muuuust be nice. And for any Dodgers fan who wants to jump on and defend, don't. Take the W. This is a huge pickup and makes the Padres look like an even longer shot since they aren't doing anything but hurting themselves on ATVs.

Jays vs Dodgers world series in the near future?

Don't forget the two headed monster in New York Degrom and Scherzer

That lineup is much improved with Mark Canha, Eduardo Escobar and Starling Marte to add to Alonso and a likely rebounding Lindor and McNeil.

Depth will be the key for them

If you really look at the roster they only got betts 2 years ago and Freeman this year, They traded for Turner and Scherzer last year great move to allow Seager to walk. Muncy was nothing not even in the majors, Sea gave up and Taylor he turned it around with LA, The Mets did not want to wait on JT with his injuries, Polluck has been injured prone. He has been good with the Dodgers when Healthy. Bellinger is not the same player on offensive but his Defense and arm is great. Dodgers have a great Farm system that allows them to make good trades, So many players that are in the Majors that came out of the Dodgers farm system. Will Smith, Bellinger, Seager up to this year, Lux, They scout really well. Dodgers got lucky with JT, Taylor and Muncy. Having young guys under contract and older players with 1-3 year contracts helps them be able to get guys like Betts and Freeman.

MLBTS has warped my brain. The only thing I take from this post is that it will take me FOREVER to finish the Dodgers LS collection. I'll need to start flipping early I guess...

Last year I got Betts day one from a pack that was awesome, Weeks later I pulled Bellinger he was still a high diamond, It will be nice to pull some good diamonds early on the dodgers.

The Dodgers plain and simple are the top organization in baseball all around at the moment and have been since the Yankees dynasty fell back to earth. The Red Sox are right there with them and have more championships in the last 20 years and they both have managed to harvest homegrown talent (Red Sox- Devers, Xander, Dodgers- Will Smith, Walker Buehler, Kershaw etc) while they nab major free agents JD Martinez, Sale, Freeman, Bauer etc.

But the trades are where they really shine. In the last few years the Dodgers traded for Trea Turner and Scherzer and Mookie Betts a few years prior. That's insane. They just keep striking gold. And just when you think a big name player leaves, a bigger name arrives.
