So far, David Price is the only active player as TA4 reward.
The Rays have a very limited player pool of great legends.
They could have used McGriff

As a die hard Orioles fan I almost would prefer Brady Anderson over Cal. Cal swing isn't great in game. Plus I want a legit centerfielder. Trout is great. Kemp is pretty good. He's let me down few times already. Dominguez is awesome but his stats are a little low this late in the year, Rightfield is stacked with talent. If you move them to a secondary they lose some attributes which isn't a huge deal for some but still want a centerfielder.

Castilla .319 with 46 bombs and 144 RBIs in ‘98. Man idk what kind of card it is but if they use that year this could be a good one
I have a feeling it will be similar to the Milestone Bichette card.
At least he’s a corner infielder so hopefully his defense isn’t as unplayable as bichette in the outfield
Vinny was a great defender.
Great defender, very consistent hitter, and one of the nicest guys I ever met from the Rockies. Absolutely LOVE him in the game!

I’m still holding out hope we get a 50 HR milestone Brady Anderson in the next couple of years.

That's pretty much the perfect example of what steroids allowed players to be capable of. If you add his next 2 best yearly HR totals together, it still wouldnt equal that year. An absolute anomaly of a season.

He was definitely in the roids. He was good friends with Palmeiro. I remember leaving a game at Camden Yards and I saw Brady and Palmeiro in a convertible together. Probably heading back to shoot up.

That leaves the Orioles, Twins, Yankees, Mariners, Diamondbacks, Marlins, Phillies, Padres, Nationals, and Giants? Should get 5 more today...
My guess:
BAL: Ripken
MINN: Carew
SEA: Tino Martinez
ARI: Luis Gonzalez
MIA: Sheffield
PHI: Rollins
SD: Gwynn
WAS: Gary Carter
SF: McCoveyBig Collection: Hank Aaron
NYY: Lou Gehrig but hoping for Mickey Mantle there.
I could be wrong, but it feels like they still have 4 inning programs to fill. Mantle seems like he would be a wanted boss. There could be a collection reward for checking in all of the TA1-4 cards though that would make the grind worth it to all who did all of the TA's.

Yeah. That was the steroid era. Ball players still cheat now. Maybe not steroids but it's always something,

Gotta love these threads that are duplicates of other threads.
-
Bob Feller and Tom Seaver a huge W!!
-
Tino Martinez, another 1B. That would be a disappointment.
-
Jimmie Rollins.

How is Price a legend?

I’m pretty sure Price won the CY young with the Rays and he’s not a legend he’s a flashback.

Seems like a goof on SDS’s part. Crawford would have been nice as a new legend. I was sure that it was going to be Boggs 3k hits milestone or Carlos Pena.

If it was not for the steroid era baseball would not be as good as it is today, Before that era the strike in 94 turned a lot of fans away, Min, Mil and a few others to get rid of and downsize MLB. But then came McGwire, Sosa and Bonds with a few others players on Roids and in 96 Baseball on on top of the sports World, Bud Selig and others turned a blind eye to the roids and then when the story broke Bud Selig pretty much turned on the players and did not take any responsibility for not enforcing the rules, Why because of Money because baseball need the Roid era.

I agree with this. Sure they're cheating. But steroids doesn't help you hit the ball. It does help you hit it further but you have to hit it first. I pitched in college and I love pitching duels but as a fan of baseball I want to see homeruns, double plays, etc. Bonds and those guys were great fun to watch. Bonds was good way before the roids. Sosa on the other hand?....

Sosa was good or above avg but not great before the Roids. I love pitching duels as well I pitch in High School never played college ball. Bonds was on his way to the HOF before the Roids. McGwire probably was on them his Rookie year .

Are kidding me? Bonds was “good” before the steroids? No……….. Bonds was “Inner Circle” Hall of Fame GREAT before the cream. His ego cost him the Hall of Fame. He wasn’t satisfied with being a 40/100 guy when McGwire was obliterating the home run record books. Bonds had to one up Big Mac and it cost him. The problem with Bonds is that he might have gotten away with it if he wasn’t such a locker room cancer. His teammates hated him. Him and Jeff Kent couldn’t stand to be in the same room with each other, not that Jeff Kent was any better when it came to being an egotistical [censored]. Had Bonds just stuck to his career trajectory, he would’ve probably passed both Ruth and Aaron just not as fast. Keep in mind that Bonds was pretty much forced out of baseball. When his last contract with the Giants was up he had every intention of continuing. Baseball pretty much colluded against him and that is why his career ended. He took baseball to court but ultimately failed to prove any collusion but it was pretty apparent that he was blackballed at the end of his career. Bonds only has himself to blame for the plight of his career at the end. Had he been a person with a more humble personality he might be considered the greatest of all time but instead he is the poster child of the steroid era. And he himself as the only one to blame.
