Nope, finished on the first try.
Same here. It took me 5 at bats (single, double, hr and then a hr) to do it. Power swing all the way.

I just skipped it. I hope his card plays better than the moment. His lack of exit velocity is killer.

Yeah, took me a bunch of tries to get it for some reason.

Took me about 10 tries, but it happened. Oppo taco home run in the 9th that cleared the wall by 15 feet thank goodness. Just power swing and wait for something close in the middle.
Nothing was worse than the Mickey Mantle 3 hit daily moment a month ago. Pure torture for me.

hit 2 bombs on my first try. i usually use power swing on lower difficulty missions it makes your pci smaller because it's hard to be precise if it's massive

^ Same. Was probably about 20 times for me too (but felt like a lot more!)
Daily Moments shouldn't take 30-45 minutes to do (IMO). Especially for 1 Reward Point!

Yeah. It was high off the wall, the OF ran to a spot facing the wall so I knew it wasnt gone. I just pointed him toward third and hoped he could get there, lol.

I actually got a triple my first try and thought okay this isn't THAT bad. Oh I was wrong

First Daily I have failed.
Admitedly a noob as this is my first MLB being an Xbox player but I tried everything. Changed to directional as a last resort just always came up 2 runs shy. Constantly caught at the track and when I did get a HR early couldnt manage the other 4 bases.
FWIW I get the nostalgia value but going black and white is awful. -

Thing is, you guys that are saying, “it’s on rookie” need to remember that it isn’t really.
They mess with the sliders like crazy in moments and showdowns etc. Sure, it says “rookie” but if you believe that, I’d like to talk about some swamp property.
Hey some swamps are pretty valuable (if you’re an alligator).
Plus they taste like chicken, right??
True but they say these cicadas also taste like chicken. Why does everything taste like chicken???
I think they were serving crickets at the ballpark in Seattle for a while...

I finally finished it but it was the longest daily mission by a long shot. I also cursed at the game more during that moment than any other. It was definitely not worth the single point it awarded. I ended it with a HR and two doubles.

I finished it with 3 doubles and 2 singles. Luckily I was able to get that 5th AB.

Considering you can miss a day and still get the final reward, I'm glad I didn't bother.

Took me like 10 or so tries. That moment was definitely a PITA. That 95 Gehrig is terrible IMO,
