Anyway to stop a freeze off?

Tried it after an hour of sitting. Completely froze the game. Quit after 2 hours of waiting. 14-1 instead of 15-0. Tough first loss, SDS.

i have this happen quite often but if you turn off your controller if fixed it every time for me

I tried that, but it was after he had been standing on the mound for an hour and it just froze the game for me. I’ll try it sooner if it happens again

Meh. It’s only happened to me 1 out of 15 games so far. I’ll take the good with the bad, I just hope they patch it soon.

Thats a terrible situation. I will say I have been in "Freeze offs" in prior years games where I could do the same (also in games where I put ball in play and just round bases and score but no one ever picks up the ball). Usually quick menu/pausing doesnt work for either person (shame you didnt have that part on video).
Either way, I'd recommend submitting this complaint with your video as an official bug report (if not done). It wont help you recoop that dub but maybe they will be able to patch this.

Yeah I feel ya. I submitted it, all I could really do. I could move my pci and square to bunt, but couldn’t step out or go into the menu. My opponent went into his menu several times and even offered a friendly quit after 20 minutes. After waiting over two hours and quitting, he immediately messaged me “tough first loss”

It’s not frozen. He just asked for a friendly quit after standing on the mound for ten minutes. I rejected the friendly quit and now he’s standing on the mound and not using any of his pause time. I thought it forced you to throw a pitch after ten seconds or so
Yeah ..what you are describing is not possible
If only everybody would support their posts like this - sorry it happened but kudos for going to the effort to provide some evidence.

This happened to me but I was the pitcher I couldn't do anything except pause.

It's a freeze off. If there were a way to stop it, it wouldn't be a freeze off.

It's a freeze off. If there were a way to stop it, it wouldn't be a freeze off.
I may have described it wrong. My opponent was exploiting a glitch and still have control to go in the menu and such, I guess it wasn’t a “freeze off”, more of him just freezing me out.

Ya I have been in two different kind of freeze offs so far. The one it works to just turn off controller but the one that Im in this morning there is nothing you can do. I had to go to work so I assume the other guy quits at some point

I mean, I’ve been playing Diamond Dynasty for 5 years and I, personally, have never seen this exact scenario. I’ve been in games where both players are frozen, but not one where one player is exploiting a glitch and freezing out another player. Just trying to address it and make my experience public.

Yeah, it sucks but it is what it is. It’s a video game at the end of the day. I just want to do my due diligence and make it public and report it so hopefully it gets better in the future.

in cod there is a kick feature that if your still for 2 minutes in game, you got kicked from game.....sds can fix this but they want trolls to buy game too i assume

There are more freeze offs this year so far than there was all last year I think. Never had a freeze off at all last year, this year so far? Well over 50.
