I press R2 to see your pitch confidence and energy and I do it out of rhyme/habit for a couple seconds before each pitch, it helps me hit better.

If you can’t take that it’s your fault, just wait a few seconds to pitch it’s not cheating and it’s not a big deal

If you’re doing it every pitch, that’s an issue

It’s out of habit, it gets me in a good timing rhythm to hit better

You need to see pitcher confidence/energy after every pitch? I cant believe any difference is even noticeable between pitches.

It’s the same argument over and over.

It depends on the context. Some people do it specifically to be annoying. Some people do it to mess up your pinpoint input. Some people just want to see your confidence/stamina every now and then. It’s never cheating, but in certain situations, it’s just a [censored] move.

I don’t mind it this year bc of the icon that shows you the opponent is holding R2

I dont have a problem if you hold it for a second or 2 every at bat my only complaint is with the people that hold it the max amount of time every pitch. That's what kills me, checking the last pitch sequence or confidence is completely understandable

If you want to hold R2 every pitch that fine but for players who do it be prepared that I will step off every time that little icon shows up.

I’ve played 70 online games and nobody does that . The people who complain about it are worse than the people who do it

I haven't played online much this year but last year I had it happen a few times. It was always people that were doing other bs on top of it tho like bunt cheesing etc. I agree tho that it's not one of those things you run into often so don't really think it should be inspiring threads to be made on here

You're not doing this for rhythm and to see every pitch, you're doing it to be annoying. Every now and again makes sense but every pitch? Come on...

I have played people who try to do it as much as possible. With that I know you can press R2 three separate times. Basically I had to wait until after time 3 to start my pitch.

    No cheating but it’s stupid

That’s crazy because it’s usually only 0.5-2 seconds so if that annoys you that’s on you

I wonder if it helps your timing because the pitcher has already started to pitch and it hangs their pitch because of it...

I don’t have to look at OPs record to know he’s something like 15-42 with a .176 avg
